I have heard of it, but I at least have the decency to wait for it to happen before condemning a fight or fighter over it.

Every time I have seen you post something about the Cleverly/Kovalev fight the comment is basically the same thing "this fight is fixed" "ref and judges will favour Cleverly" "the cards are already written" or more in that vein. You just want to pre-empt it in case it does turn out to be a fixed fight so you can sit there and feel smug about yourself, I only hope that if Cleverly puts in a great performance and makes Kovalev look like a bum on the way to a points win that you will be man enough to give him his due and not sit there and call it a fix.

Even the commentators comment on home town decisions. I think the judges and referee should be neutral and that a fight should always be in neutral territory. I like Cleverly, he is a volume puncher, no power, but throws a lot of punches, kind of like Meldrick Taylor.............Hopkins would not fight Kovalev, so Cleverly took this fight. If the fight is fair, I give him credit for having the balls to fight Kovalev, say what you want, but Kovalev is an extremely dangerous fight.....................I saw him easily stop Campillo, who easily beat Cloud, but was cheated and the decision was booed by Cloud's fans. Cloud is owned by Don King..............Would you want Cleverly to fight Kovalev in Kovalev's home town?

By the way, so many were claiming that Dirrell was cheated in UK when he lost to Froch. However, I had Froch winning that fight and do not think Dirrell was cheated. Calzaghe is one of my favorite fighters, but Cleverly is not Calzaghe.................

If anything goes even remotely how I expect it to, Kovalev wins it and it will be a stoppage.

Only way I can see it in Cleverly's favor is if he somehow survives the first half of the fight and Kov fades down the stretch. That would make it a close enough scorecard to hand it to Clev.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fu9zRRmDlY It doesn't get more basic then this, sure he throws fast flurries, but he's still there to be hit after the flurry, because he will just bounce around in the same spot , or drop his hands to showboat. His style reminds me of hatton and khan mixed. Calzaghe was slick with his movement, but cleverly has no rhythm whatsoever, and sure he outworks average guys, but calling him a "Pure Boxer" is taking it too far. Cleverly is facing a complete fighter who is a boxer-puncher in kovalev and u will see cleverly exposed, and knocked out. People keep saying this will be like lacy vs calzaghe are talking out their ass, because all lacy had was a left hook, and kovalev is a complete fight,er with a great jab also.

I too would not be shocked if Cleverly gets favor with the judges and ref. However, if cleverly wins fairly I will give him a lot of credit because I don't think he is good enough to beat Kovalev. If it were to go 12 rounds, in a fair judgement Kovalev will win. Do you remember that cleverly barley beat Tony b
Kovalev is the total package, I have only seen 4 of his fights but what I have seen, he has good defense and power.

@witschnerd1, kovalev has a great jab to that sets up his attacks. I think kovalevs jab will be another key weapon in this fight, because it will keep cleverly off balance, and allow him to land his big shots.

Kovalev wins. It would be sensational if Cleverly somehow gets through this.
I just hope nothing dodgy happens.

There will be no robbery. The winner will be clear weather its Cleverly or Kovalev.

Some guys when faced with they're biggest challenges are able to bring it to another level. I think Cleverly is one of them.
