If size is such a major issue then fury And valuev are greater than the klits, or does this logic only apply when it benefits klittards

The old bob and weave style is sorely missed in boxing.:deal

If you lean straight back against Smokin' Joe you're in trouble....as Ali can attest.

This was the most stupid post I´ve ever read. These so called HW´s today would not survive the 60´s or 70´s era. Ali would play with these K brothers, who can´t even defend themselfes if the oponent throw more than one punch at a time. Don´t compare them to the greatest of all time. He would have schooled them in the 70´s. in the 60´s he would have cut them to pieces.

I'm seeing more ppl question Ali's greatness vs modern HWs as time moves forward. Which is a good sign. At first I thought this would be a thread where the OP would be one of those "70s era was the best" types criticizing fans for favorably comparing current era HWs to Ali.

You're right. It is ridiculous to say that Ali would be competitive vs modern HWs. This is no different than older fan saying J Louis or R Marciano could beat Ali. I've stated many times that overall Ali was the best of his era. But suggesting he could win, or even dominate current top HWs is beyond lame :patsch

What's worse is while some of the Ali worshipers might be driven by nostalgia - most are driven by crude nationalistic and/or racist reasons :-(

I noticed the beginnings of this bs when LL started to dominate. When the K bros took over the insecure bigots came out of the closet in droves :p

    the Klits ducked SNV

Chin of Iron, skill of sugar, build of a beast

the Klits knew SNV had their number

    Another insecure race-baiting Klittard.

Joe Louis had a bum of the month tour.

The Klit sisters had a bum of the month CAREER and still managed to either quit or get KTFO.:rofl

Ross Purrity and Chris Byrd would get laughed out of boxing in Ali's era...they sure as hell wouldn't beat the guys that were dominating.

They know it's true...but it's easier to cry racism and say you are biased against the Russian robots.

Well the only thing you have to understand is this. A 40 year old WAY WAY beyond his prime challenged for the heavyweigt title against Holyfield and pushed him pretty hard. He later went on to acually WIN the heavyweight title against moorer.

Ali took the title from the same man 20 years earlier when he was destroying everyone. What does that say you?:happy

  11. Nothing.

Holyfield was never that ATG worthy fighter. Sure, he had some good fights and good heart, but he also lost a lot against the superstarts. He wasn't a dominator.

Foreman lost to Ali, when he had a 4 year young professional career, where he fought before mostly against bums. Ali already lost to Frazier then and was way more experienced.

If Holyfield wasn't ATG worthy that doesn't bode well for the Klit boy's ATG status.

Evander never quit...and you can't show me a picture of him asleep on the canvas.:yep
