Was it when Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield's ear?

Or when Tyson Fury punches himself in the face?

Or when Manny Pacquioa got tripped and hit on the same time?

    Others?

And what are the chances that these things happen again? :think

Doesn't anyone remember when Carlos Navarro counted himself out in his fight with Manny Pacquiao's brother Bobby on Friday Night Fights in 2005? I can't forget it because it was the most pathetic display of cowardice I've ever seen from a boxer. I recall Navarro was knocked down from a body shot, got up, but then didn't make an effort to fight when the referee resumed the fight. He then intentionally fell to the canvas, but the referee called it a slip. I remember he pounded the canvas, which the ref probably thought was out of frustration for slipping, but was in fact Navarro's frustration that the fight wasn't stopped. So then because the referee didn't get that he was looking for a way out of the fight, Navarro took a knee, pulled his mouthpiece out, stared at the ref, and in a mocking voice... counted himself out with the referee!!! Of course fighters have mentally checked out and quit in the middle of fights before, but the way Navarro bailed out of that fight was the worst mockery of the sport. And probably the most bizarre thing I've seen in almost 20 years of watching boxing! I wish I could find the fight or a clip of the ending online.

Navarro was actually a really talented technical boxer who should have accomplished more, but that fight showed that talent is nothing if a fighter doesn't have the mental makeup to put it to use in a tough fight.

Can't believe I joined just to post that!

That would be James Butler. But that was sickening rather than odd and not funny at all.
