Name a fighter Wlad has ducked. He beat Haye already, beat Chagaev, Ibragimov. Beat Thompson twice and gets **** for that. Beat the last guy to give him a close fight( Peter) twice. And has fought ranked up an comers Brock, and Chamber. Though Chambers stock has dropped since, doesn't take away from he accomplished prior. Giving Pov a good fight, and beating Peter, Dimintrenko, and should have beat Adamek with one hand. And Now he's fighting Povetkin who's top ranked, will have a Mando vs Pulev/Thompson, and most likely will eventually fight the Haye/Fury winner.
He tried fighting Valuev but because of Don King it never happened. And I have to believe Valuev; being his size wouldn't be to scared of many people, so it doesn't rest on Wlad or Valuev.

So please tell me who he's ducked. I just want names of the fighters you wanted him to fight at those times that he didn't?? And you can't say Fury or whomever has only 19 fights thus far into their career, since back then they'd be even greener.

Nah. No money in that. Chagaev wont fight for a title unless he's a mando. If Povetkin did manage to pull it off though you can be sure that Saurland would be ling up all their fighters for Povetkin showdowns. Helenius, Huck, Pulev, Boystov and even Gerber would be battling it out until the belt's taken from them.

 

Given the available competition, I wouldn't have thought it possible for him to be on any such list - but yeah, Povetkin and then Pulev would make a case. (worthless Pianeta bears no relevance; that could have never taken place and he would be no further away from the short list)
