Listen up son, its very simple. Froch was not mando when Kessler held the belt. Froch was in a final eliminator with Inkin for mandatory status. Kessler signed to fight Joe. After that happened , Inkin pulled out with injury and WBC made Froch mandatory. He was to be mando to whoever won, Joe won, thus Froch was Joe's mandatory. Get it? You said Froch was Kessler's mando to try hide the fact Joe dumped the belt rather than fight carl. A fight that had been building up for a few years. You can say he took on Hop intstead. Froch was the tougher fight.
What does it matter that Froch hadn't won a world title? It was a good domestic clash that people wanted to see. Froch made a statement years earlier when he blew away Hauge in 1 round to become British champ. Groves never fought for a title and his fight with Froch is going to be on PPV. That link is from a different timeline than the topic at hand. Read the link http://www.google.com/url?q=http://...kQFjAE&usg=AFQjCNGgKHELnMWL7fm3L9yFcXPiFc8p5A
Inkin pulled out again and Froch because Joe's mando. Take defeat here like a man , you can come back to fight another day.
Fighting Hopkins was a better move for Joe for business and legacy than fighting Froch would have been.. Hopkins was the bigger fight, had a bigger name world wide and LHW world champ.
The Froch v Hop fight was met with disdain by practically everybody when it was talked about. The Groves fight is much bigger. Joe's record would be far more respectful had it Froch's name on it. Are you running from the link? Bailey just went and done a quit job. First time ever. Go and put that in the team elite manifesto.
Quit job to what? I have completely destroyed your every post. Froch wasnt established when Calzaghe was active, still Calzaghes record has the name of the fighter that took Frochs 0. Where was a Froch/Hopkins net with disdain by so many people? Show me this link with so many people who viewed it with disdain. Tell me this - How would Groves be a bigger opponent than Hopkins? I bet now you see a quit job :yep.
You read this link here...http://www.theguardian.com/football/2008/mar/18/newsstory.sport11....You tried to claim Carl was mando to Kessler..Inkin pulled out of that fight a second time and Froch became mando.
Stop waffling and answer the questions to the comments you made Where was a Froch/Hopkins net with disdain by so many people? Show me this link with so many people who viewed it with disdain. Tell me this - How would Groves be a bigger opponent than Hopkins? I bet now you see a quit job :yep. You must have an old link, probably given to you by G Zod. When I tried looking at it, see below Sorry - we haven't been able to serve the page you asked for
There's nothing to debate about with Froch v Groves/Hopkins. Its a matter of opinion. Do you think Froch v Hopkins would sell PPV? I seriously doubt it. Quit trying to change the subject anyway. I presented you with a link that override's your older link. You then ignored it. Thats a quit job and a lost argument for you.
So before we move on, were you telling the truth when you wrote Where did you get this from? The subject was that you said Calzaghe ducked Froch, now what you are going on about IS a different subject, so lets get back on track and you can admit that I showed you that, that wasnt the case That link still shows that Froch was number 1 as he was before Calzaghe/Kessler and was agreeing to face the #2, but #1 is still mandatory which he was before, he was just willing to take a chance with his standing. Still where you are wrong again though is that Calzaghe was already in talks to fight Hopkins and giving up the titles and the Hopkins fight was signed and agreed then before that fight between Froch and Inkin was even planned for. Calzaghe fought Hopkins in the April and that fight is scheduled for May. You self pwned there
Vitali Klitschko, and it's not even close: David Tua Ruslan Chagaev David Haye Eddie Chambers Alexander Povetkin Lamon Brewster Chris Byrd (Chris offered Vitali a rematch in Vitali's backyard, and Vitali ducked it) Evander Holyfield Ray Mercer Hasim Rahman Mike Tyson (albeit past prime) Shannon Briggs (prime version) I could go on, but you get the picture. Vitali's management know better than to put him in the ring with people who can actually hit back. I'll pay anyone who can find me a fighter who ducked so many top contenders. Hell, Vitali actually ducked champions!
