Can Floyd handle a shot from Canelo?

Lesser fighters than PBF have handled shots from him just fine.

 

Probably as good as jose cotto or matthew hatton. Jose Cotto was hit about five perfectly placed straight right hands and did not go down.

Canelo's power is just a clubbing wear you down type of power. It is good but not great by any means.

 

Floyd, on the few occasions when he has been clocked, showed a good chin, so he can handle Canelo's power

 

hatton did? rhodes did for 12 rounds? trout did? mosley did? ndou did? but you ask the question whether floyd can.. cmonnnn canelos power is overrated... remember all the above except trout are 147lb'ers.. trout din't seem to fear canelos power at all, pressing the fight for most of the 12 rounds, he got hit with a good shot fair enough, he got back up and prety much dominated the rest of the round.

 

The people screaming about Canelo's power will be in for a shock when Canelo decides not to fight with it meaning he won't be in there trying to take Floyd's head off, Canelo WILL BOX with Mayweather and look damn good doing it too.

floyd has never fought a real jmw and on top of that heavy handed, we are about to find out, this will be floyds chin toughest test.... if he does he has my respect...

 

how many times has he been down? anyone who takes a clean, straight shot from Mosley is going to feel it, just look and Margo

 

Yes he can handle a shot from Alvarez, but can Alvarez land a good, clean shot?

 

He has never been down, responds well when rarely wobbled, and has a great defence that means he rarely takes a clean shot anyway.

How can you possibly say he doesn't really have a good chin??

 

margo took 50 of those shots. compared to him floyd is average at best. i dont think he has a weak chin but i dont think he has a particularly tough one either.
