I remember this fight bro. Remember reading BN and it saying weeks before about Forrest beating Sugar Shane in the AM's. Sugar Shane was like Super Man he was fast and taking guys out when i was a kid.

Look at the two faces as they wait for first bell. Shane looks like a kid being sent out by dad to fight the big bully. Vernon is chin high, shoulders down and bouncing like a kid seeing parents at school gates. He excited and knows he's going to do a job on Shane. Shane knew it!.

That uppercut in round 2!!. Peachy. Forrest smoother footwork got him the opening there. Shane for all speed and power always a little jerky with upperbody and feet he never transitions well from attack to defence where as Vernon could. Vern pivots around with a little turn off the front foot staying in position for right hand.

 

I kid ya not bro I was like wtf is this mofo coming with (Vernon) Mosley was kinda ma hero.......don't remember anyone else having a dbl jab like his around then (the things that amuse me haaaaaawwwww)
