Vitali has become so smug it seems. He just dosent want to fight Stiverne. I guess he'd rather have some journeyman elevated by the WBC and win easy. The funny thing is that Vitali will complain there are not good challengers anymore!

 

In many ways this is true. It's like they dont care how they are perceived as long as they can fight nobodies and make money with it in Europe. They can fight the Mormecks and Sosnowski's of the world in Germany forever and people will pay pay pay. It's wrong.

Postponing purse bids when the reason is an injury, very strange, sounds like there is more to it.

Crook Sillyman has damaged Stiverne's career for too long already, it's about time they give him the belt and name Vitali emeritus champion if he wishes so.

IMO, WBC will give Stiverne an interim title oportunity, at best.

 

Vitali is already Emeritus Champion hence why they won't strip him.

 

And therefore I do not understand Vitali´s behavior. It is not a behavior of honor.

He could give up the WBC Belt and still can fight for the WBC again if he wants to in 2014 whenever he wants.

But to sit on the belt over a year and now fight his mandatory is not good sportsmanship.

 

No, Wlad just faked injuries to screw Chisora out of a fight because he decided he didn't want to fight him, not once but twice, in order to make more money fighting Haye.

 

Not true and Chisora was a voluntary defence. He did not have to fight him.

Vitali can give up the belt and fight for the WBC belt whenever he wants.
His behavior is bad very bad sportsmanship.

Wlad DID have to fight him. That's what a signed contract means atsch If he didn't want to fight Chisora, he should have never offered the fight and pretend he was going to give Chisora the shot.

Truth is, Wlad played around with a young contenders career for his own personal gain, some sportsmen he is.

 

CHEF said a while back that Povetkin is tailor-made for Wlad, and you keep claiming Wlad will pull out of the fight because it will take place in Russia :rofl:rofl

btw, Wlad was deducted a point for leaning on Haye, he was also warned more than once vs Chagaev for leaning and holding so I don't know where you get your BS that Wlad never gets penalised for fouling

 

Lennox Lewis sat on the belt for a year after the Tyson fight and then another 7 months after the Vitali fight. He is not the first to do such.

He will fight Stiverne and then I think they will work something out with the WBC for Wlad to fight eventually for that belt. That should make you happy.
