Kudos to Cleverly for taking up this fight and some questions about his management for staging it. To me Kovalev has too much power, combined with skill and ring generalship, for Cleverly. As much as I like Nathan, I think Kovalev will prove to be too much for him. Still, from a boxing fen's point of view - great fight!

Cleverly is counting on his personal referee and judges to get him the win in his home town. Cleverly's referee will interfere with the fight a lot to help Cleverly. The judges have already filled out their cards in favor of Cleverly, but I think it will be Cleverly's referee who with be there to help protect Cleverly.

It's official, Box Nation just released, cleverly won by Unanimous decision. They figured there was no reason to wait for the fight since they KNOW who will win anyway.
    Wink wink!

Again with the same accusations that the fights going to be fixed, that Cleverly's only chance to win is to have the ref and judges paid off. Its tedious. Seriously, you dont know that, you cant prove it, so shut the hell up and wait for the fight to happen before you start accusing anyone of anything.

The Che T-Shirt? C'mon, Che's everyone's favourite revolutionary, the guys just a legend everywhere. Well, 'cept in Florida of course - which just happens to be where Kovalev lives - I wonder if he thought that one through?

I don't why people are saying it's either Kovalev KO or Cleverly decision as not only can Kovalev KO Cleverly, contrary to what people are saying on here, he is also the much better boxer.

This is a wide misconception in my opinion. Judges and refs don't need to be paid off. They have dream jobs. Their dream jobs are in the boxing business. Their bosses are, at least in part, promoters. If you have a dream job, you want the business to do well and your boss to be happy. Even if you're honest, it will probably affect your judgement. If you're not so honest, well, we've seen what happens then.

Doesn't take anything away from Cleverly or any other fighter. That's just the water they swim in.
