Should be stripped and give him a protected place for a WBC elimantor spot.

He should be given 6 months to defend while he "recovers". In the meantime #1 and #2 contender should fight for interim title. That's the proper way of handling the situation.

He's been given a year. No excuse. I looked it up and his last mandatory defence was Solis in March 2011. Adamek wasn't a mando...Chisora was ranked no.15 when he fought him and Charr wasn't ranked at all, most people never even heard of Charr.....He's a fake champ and he's only doing his legacy more harm than good hanging around.

Do we look at all champs that have not fought for a year then and strip them?

Vitali's a ducking coward. The WBC should just give the title to Stiverne.

Yes. Hasnt fought this year, delaying purse bids, Charr was a poor opponent for his last defence.

I'm sure he made it clear he's injured and will fight in 2014. Still confused?, I'd rather see him stall till 2014 and lose to someone in an actual fight when he returns rather than get stripped and see two overweight bums fight for it. Hope that's clear enough, bumpkin.

Of course he should 2 cancelled purse bids and over a year inactive. He looked pretty awful in his last 2 fights as well. WBC are a disgrace

Lewis was sitting on his belt at the end of his career, many fighters have done this, dempsey, lewis, old foreman, we dont know if vitalis injury is genuine if it is then of course he shouldn't be stripped, but he at the same time shouldnt be allowed to dismiss his mandatory and must fight him as soon as he recovers.

however while speaking in the same breath the purse bids shouldn't be postponed they can still take place.

If hes inactive for 2 years or more without any geniune reason i.e. injury(which proof should be provided) then yes Wbc should strip him

Perosnally i think if vitali feels he cannot fight or age is getting the better of him, his body not working the way it should he should retire for the good of the spirit of the sport.

No where because it never happened. The longest Lewis ever went between title defenses was the year and few days between the Tyson and Vitali fights - like I've told you in four different threads now.
