    1:

I have never claimed to know what a fighter is thinking like you have.

This is what you have posted in the past:
I think Jones lied to Collins because he believed that if he didn't Collins would demand a fight.

I think Jones did not believe Collins WBO belt was worthwhile

I think Jones wrote that letter to the ibf to get into Tarver's head

You are the one claiming the Lewis saw Vitali as a easy fight. Where is your source for that?

    :lol::yep
    Point proven.

I said take note Loudon, but you still argued and here GZod has shown a glowing example.

    Edit
Loudon please just look at what GZod wrote and dont be offended. You even noted what YOU THINK Jones believed.
This is why I often dont take many of your posts seriously. You said YOU THINK and then went on from there.
As said its not to offend you.
    Take care

No, what you've done, is tried to make a story out of two separate things.

Why have you posted those examples up of me saying "I think..."?

If I've wrote that, then I obviously haven't tried to pass those off as facts have I?

Bailey originally pulled me, because he asked how I knew what Roy was thinking. The reason I knew, was because Roy had made it public knowledge in an interview.

If Roy said in a Jan 97 interview while preparing for Griffin (that you posted by the way) that he was looking at fighting Hill afterwards, then I can tell Bailey what Roy's thoughts were in Jan 97, if he wasn't aware.

I'd heard Roy say that before it was on your link, but if Bailey wants to see it, then I'll try and find it for him.

I never said Lewis said that Vitali would be easy. What I said was, pre Vitali, Lewis was confident, boastful, and spoke of having 3 or more fights.

But after his hard fight with Vitali, he never fought again, then he retired and stated he could no longer could give 100% as he wasn't motivated.

So obviously, the hard Vitali fight must have changed his mind.

What are you talking about you fruitcake?

You've accused me of passing of my opinions as facts.

Ha! How have I done that with zod's examples, if I've put "I think..." in front if each sentence?

I could go through your history, zod's history, and anyone else's history, and pull them on their opinions.

This whole forum is based on people's opinions.

If I've got an opinion, I'll type I think, or I believe in front of a sentence. But if I don't and I claim it as a fact, then I can back it up.

    general zod,

There was also an in depth Julian Jackson interview that was posted on here last month.

Julian said that Roy thought it was a great opportunity, but Roy Snr blocked it, and said that he hit too hard.

The link that you've provided discusses how Big Roy spurned Lou Duva and Manny Steward, and fed him second rate fighters.

We also know that Fred Levin offered Big Roy title opportunities for Roy, and he turned around and told Levin that Roy wasn't interested, even though he hadn't even mentioned them to Roy.

That was said on the Beyond the Glory documentary.

He didn't say that in the interview I heard, and Roy states here, that Don wanted him to commit to something, but he wasn't sure what it was exactly.

Again, according to Jackson, Big Roy blocked it.

So this link here is obviously referring to another point in time.

The window of opportunity was small. Roy was being steered towards the IBF title, and Gerald towards a huge fight with Jackson. After Hopkins, Roy only defended the belt once, and when he moved up to fight Toney in 94, Gerald remained at 160 until the following year.

Again, we know what Fred Levin said regarding Big Roy, and we can see the calibre of opponents that Roy was fighting until the split in 1992.

He came into the ring huge against Hopkins, and then he fought Malinga at 167. He only defended the belt once against Tate, and then he vacated it, to fight Toney at 168.

Well he weighed in at 166 for Garcia.

The facts are, he fought four times after Hopkins, and only made 160 in one of the fights. The weight was obviously an issue.

Why did Big Roy not want his son fighting people that "punched too hard" :huh

Wouldn't have anything to do with a Glass Jaw would it? :think

Great talent, he should have quit after beating Ruiz. Roy's technique was always flawed but he was so athletic he could get away with it. Once his reflexes and legs were gone he was an easy target. Just like Chris Byrd.

    Look again

In red Loudon, in red. How do you know what Roy believed? :patsch
This is more of what I was telling you Loudon.
You call me a fruitcake when you are quoting what fighters believe :patsch.
Now dont take offence, but just stick to facts.
When I made this point to you, I wasnt just meaning this particular thread, but many I have seen you try to debate on, but fail to do so with any sense, because alot is made from your beliefs
