Big Roy knew his son had a Glass Jaw. They have known it all along and tried to hide it. Well, it didn't work. Jones was brutally and embarrassingly KOed once that Glass Mandible of his starting getting hit.

Well, when you cautiously move up and avoid the Divisions biggest punchers and threats like he did I guess not. Roy's career involved a lot of smoke and mirrors. It was very carefully crafted the way he did things. HBO eventually caught on to what he was doing.

Jones 'spoke' to a lot of people that was his M.O. then he would either price himself out and make ridiculous demands and fight a mandatory or handpicked fight that was not as significant. Even Murad said Jones was reluctant to make fights.

It was Lewis who retired and said he didn't want to fight anymore, just a few months after saying he wanted more fights and he was up for Roy.

Find me a link where Lewis says that he wanted a fight with Roy, but Roy messed him around and priced himself out etc.

Roy looked as though he was going to face Tyson, but the Tarver and Johnson fights killed it from being a possibility.
