Delahoya performance was more impressive in my eyes . But i guess i would rate Miguels performance 7/10 .

Even the biggest Cotto critic has no choice but to respect him after that fight .

    :hey
De la hoya could have won that fight, along with many others that he lost, if he didnt let his nerves get to him. I think de la hoya suffers from serious mental issues and it showed in a lot of his fights.

That being said, 7 of 10. Fought a great fight but clearly lost. Respect to cotto though, he brought it that night

I rate it an 8/10. Pedro and Cotto had a terrific plan for keeping the jab in Floyds face.

    8/10.

Yes DeLaHoya almost beat Floyd. Oscar would have rapped Floyd in his prime. But of course that is not point of this thread.

Cotto fought so well that I would not mind seeing a rematch. Especially if Cotto can show an improvement with Roach.

    2/10

Way past his prime cotto pushed mayweather to his limit

But peak cotto did much better against pacquiao for 5 rounds, then pacman took over

Well the official scorecards for one. Including one judge who gave it to Oscar.

Cotto did the best I have seen anyone do since castillo. Zab did ok but gased in the later rounds Cotto was in the fight almost every round. It is just so hard to look good against Floyd. I actually would rate cott's performance higher than Castillo because Floyd was so much more experienced when he fought Cotto.

Although he did better than most do vs May around 6/10 he did nothing, he was getting beat down luckily landed a few jabs while Mayweather tried to stalk while he was on his bicycle, and the later rounds he held and pinned the smaller fighter to the ropes and still only won 2 rounds. Truth be told there may be an argument for Guerrero winning more rounds vs Mayweather

That was far from a chicken dance. Cotto got hit with that same temple shot from Corely. THAT was a chicken dance.
