Well I was well wide of the mark, I said Cleverly points

People kept telling me Cleverly will get a hiding as soon as he fights a genuine world class fighter, I wasn't having it.....wrong again.

Stupidly one sided, Cleverly looked terrified from the first bell and got destroyed with ease.

I wouldn't write Cleverly off completely but it is a long way back.

I don't think he will to be honest. Nice guy Nathan but he likely will operate around Euro level in the short term.

This is what happens when you step up. He doesn't have the punching power. He has been against bums and took a massive step up and got exposed. Hopefully he doesn't do a Price and go for the rematch. He has the same problem as Amir Khan. He likes to get into a fight to much, but he has a great chin unlike Khan. He should of been on the back foot and boxed his self to a victory. Instead he tried to take the centre of the ring and relied on his chin.

And Frank was mocking Eddie for fighting a mando in Gonzalez for Burns and he takes this voluntary what was he thinking.

Yeah a rematch would be absolutely pointless, cleverly lost every second of every round it lasted. No reason for them to even think about.

The difference is this was exposure on HBO for Nathan - if he won then the worlds his oyster. We've all battered Warrren for the constant stream of plumbers that Clev has been put in with - tonight was sink or swim...

I can't understand why anyone on this forum is happy when a British fighter loses!Well done to the lad for taking the fight.......at 26 with a regroup and rethink he can come again. He did look nervous.....but this Russian looks like an elite world level fighter which,at the moment,is a good level above the welsh lad....no disgrace to lose to a better man and at the end the lad recognised that.
