Why were we being told Cleverly had a granite chin?

Thats what i thought, biggest puncher Bellew? Had alot of question marks over him before tonight....

 

I think his chin actually looked pretty good cause he took some brutal shots and kept getting right up

 

He don't have a good chin .. it's pure British. This granite talk was the same like when Wlad said Pianeta was the strongest puncher he faces or that Mormeck is better than Mike Tyson.

I can't speak for those who said it was "granite", but you cannot say with a straight face that it wasn't tested, mainly because Cleverly isn't particularly hard to hit

Kovalev looked demonic tonight though and he made a definate believer out of me, I knew he could hit, but I didn't expect him to bully Cleverly like that
