No surprise here. He never fought anyone and is a stupid, arrogant little kid. Glad the ***** got twatted.
Yet again we see the petty, spiteful nature of this forum. When a fighter's proved to be anything less than elite level the gloating begins.
Not if they're pricks. Cleverly disrespected past British legends in his post-fight interview after Bellew fight.
unless you know them personally, and lets face it most people on here don't,how do you know if you don't like them?Lets face it most of what you read in the papers is rubbish and when you see fighters on telly it's mostly trash talk to sell a fight. We need to take a pride in British sport.
No point supporting just as they are British. Why should it be so essential? Good on Cleverley for taking the fight - probably a bit silly of him in retrospect, seeing as he didn't have a proper game plan to implement, but can't knock him for that. Glad he finally stepped up. Kovalev seems like a good guy, very well spoken. It was a shame Clev didn't do a post-fight interview, but seemed gracious in defeat.
I honestly do not gloat, it is a horrible situation for Cleverly and his father, questions will be asked if Vince should have pulled him out, he could have got seriously hurt, he was gone and his father pushed him back out for the 4th round against a vicious puncher. I have a problem with a fighter having his 5th WORLD TITLE DEFENCE and never having faced a world champion or former world champion, Cleverly is all what is wrong in boxing, not his fault personally, he is just making a living and I wish him no harm but Champions should be just that .... Champions And I'm sick of being force fed bull**** by pundits and commentators who are getting paid to promote a fighter rather than give an honest opinion and actually commentate on a fight without bias. So when it goes wrong I will have a little smirk.
Some fighters have a decent style or will fight anyone (Froch, Murray), and some just come off a bit pricky, often duck, or aren't warmed to. I like a fighter regardless of whether they come from.
