I agree, I would have called it off, he lost every round, just been put on the deck twice, was carried back to the corner by the referee, his eyes were gone and never looked like a winner.
His Father was in that corner, who knows him better than his own Father? he should have seen the signs. if that was my son I would have no hesitation throwing in the towel in that situation.

Throwing in the towel isn't something you want on your record, Kovalev's the Number 1 in the Light heavyweight division so Nathan shouldn't be ashamed.

If Kovalev clears out the division in Stevenson and Hopkins, Nathan will look back at this fight and won't be too worried.

If Kovalev's exposed as a hype job by somebody like Stevenson or Bellew then Cleverly should be extremely worried.

What other professional sport would tolerate a referee that is so grossly obese that he pulls his pants up to his nipples?

He once again excelled in a festival of intolerable hometown officiating and not once did anyone on the Boxnation pundit team speak out about this disgrace.

    :rofl

Boxnation pundits and commentators are a disgrace, Rawlings nearly wet himself when Cleverly got clipped when he was down "He's hit him while he's down, He's hit him while he was down" he had to say it twice, almost praying for some sort of excuse for DQ or points deduction but when Cleverly is carried back to his corner it was a simple "Has Terry O'Cononor stopped it?" and Barry Jones saying "No, Err No"

    they are just mini promoters.

Did the ref wave his hand before the bell?

If thats true then it should've been TKO3.

Cleverly was out on his feet right there, just look at him when he's plonked on the stool.
