For a start, maybe he knows he won't feel comfortable with the extra weight and wants to fight at his peak/ideal weight?

Why rinse the fans of there money and risk damaging his legacy in a fight where he can't perform to his full potential?

Six pounds, really??? Calzaghe done it and countless other fighters have moved up the weights and have more than "secured their legacy" no??

You realise fighters drop down to the weight then hydrate and can be as much as 20lbs above the fight limit?

Then given Froch walks into the ring STILL under the LHW limit, what point is there in him moving up?

if every fight of frochs is on sky box office and hes making 2m+ per fight why move up just for the nathan no chin?
it would do nothing for his legacy at all.
when he won it would be no better than his wins over abraham, kessler, dirrell etc
im not a froch fan at all but cleverly is not in the same league,we all saw that tonight.ul get a good indicator of how good froch is against a pure boxer when he fights groves-although i give groves afar better chance due to his smarter boxing and superior power(over cleverly)

does he?? Im sure he could move up without losing much of an edge. He would beat clev, bellew imo but him v Kovalev would actually be a pvp fight i would pay for. Has he not talked about moving up before??

Unless Hearn is lying, he walks into the ring around 173 max I believe.

It would potentially be easier to move down rather than go up. It makes no sense at this point in his career.

Would give away too much in weight.

Any man who weight 20lbs the next day after a weigh in has done severe dehydration and is damaging his body.

20lbs is the extreme , most fighters dont do that :patsch

Frank W doesn't care, hes now thinking of the money that can be made from Cleverly vs Maccarinelli. its a fight that at least one of his fighters can win

    Froch-Cleverly is PPV
    Froch-Groves/Bellew isn't.
