That's actually not true at all. Russia now has a positive birth rate, higher than the US in fact.

Kiev was never the capital of Russia.

It was the capital of Kievan Rus, a high medieval empire that assimilated virtually every tribe of eastern Slavs and from which modern day Belarus, Ukraine and Russia all evolved.

Not sure some people on here understand the impact of a 'positive' birth rate many countries have a 'positive' birth rate and no way to pay for the people being born which is of course not a good thing. Some of the most successful and prosperous countries in the world have a 'negative' or 'flat' birth rate. Wonder why that is?

Anyway back to Boxing I agree with IB there are some disgraceful posts in this thread. Why can't many of you just enjoy the fights some of these fighters bring us instead of bashing them and saying such and such is a bum, hasn't beat anyone, etc?

I am not 'siding' with anyone. There are people on here with clear agendas on BOTH sides. Lets take Broner for example. I don't care what he does outside the ring I like to watch him fight. He is entertaining and has skills and his stepping up every fight now. I am not on Twitter or Instagram or any of that gay **** so I don't care what the guy does. I just enjoy watching him fight. Same goes for GGG. What exactly ois wrong with that?

Aye. It looks like the Eastern block is going to have an iron rule at heavy, light heavy and middle.

Wlad and Vitlai are hall of fame locks. Gennady hasn't fought enough yet, but I think he will go down as one of the 8 best middles in the history. He's got the power of Ketchel, the durability of Hagler, and great speed, and skills. In addition, he's fearless. Wow.

Kovalev is likley the best at light heavyweight right now. No way Hopkins will fight him.

Usyk ( Won gold at Olympics ) is a highly skilled 6'3" southpaw, who looks like a future champion at cruiser weight. He is set to go pro this year.

Igor Vystrosky! He Ko'd Stevenson, and won the other on points. The thunderous punching lefty ( who also had issues with cuts ) could have been a pro champion post 1975, and pre-1980.
