Must be tough times for the haters, eh? Who cares where he was born. Vitali Klitschko was also born in Kazakhstan, correct?

Lomachenko might be the most talented of the bunch, and that's saying a lot. He's so skilled, even fans like Derrick, who seem to greet Eastern Eruo fighters with antiphay will like him. A true pound for pound talent. THe best talent in the amatuer ransk for years.

Yep. This is true. I'm not Eastern European in any way, but Ive visited a few times, and these people are probably the physically strongest group of people I've encountered, quite intelligent and amongst the hardest workers in all areas of life. If they're not drinking or lifting weights, they're working. The ex-soviet's look to be staging a takeover of the boxing world, if it's not already underway.

It is surprising to now hear that the Klitschko brothers grew up poverty stricken as a couple posters alluded to. The story I heard was that their late father was an officer in the military and provided a middle-class lifestyle to his wife and two sons. They were both born outside the Ukraine: Vitay in Kyrgostan and Wlad in Kazahkstan. The family moved around quite a bit and the father helped with the clean up of the Chernobel disaster.

When he got older the father became ill and they moved him to West Palm Beach, Florida where he lived out the remaining couple years of his life. At first he was against this because of the standard Russian propaganda about the USA being the evil empire, etc. But when they interviewed him in the Klitschko movie he said he was pleasantly surprised and loved it there. He said people were kind and friendly and the weather was great. I believe the mother elected to stay in the Ukraine where she feels more comfortable.

For pure brute strength it seems like the northern europeans: Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway are generally the biggest, strongest people in the world. They win most of the strongman competitions with the exception of Marius Puzanowski from Poland who won several titles. The Latvians and Lithuanians do well in these contests too.

But I do agree that the slavic people combine all the components: raw-boned toughness, super strength (GGG looks strong as a Cruiserweight) ruthlessness, dedication to craft, etc. They are generally more fluid and athletic than their counterparts in Scandanavia.

It's not like strongman competitions are on a level playing field either, so it's hard to claim who the strongest in the world really are. Some of these sports/events are more popular in certain areas, much less so in others.

It it wasn't for basket ball, they would rule the heavyweight division. :rofl
Seriously though, the whole physical superiority thing explaining boxing success needs to stop. 10 years from now, you might see another country or geographic area produce top boxers and have to revise your statement.

If fed govt money and other welfare spending ever stops flowing to those bankrupt dregs, riots will be the least of the peeps concern.

You'll see massive amounts of murder and even cannibalism in some pockets
Some starving ppl take to extreme behavior.

You don't see them doing that:deal

They talk shi.t about our legends and current fighters...say we're all lazy from slanging crack and welfare cards..... and you show up like the Calvary to side with them.

    They don't deserve your back-rubs..

If you read my post I think GGG is the best at middle. No way Hopkins will fight the man who as you put it hasn't beaten much at light heavyweight.
