Bellew brands Kovalev a "Hype Job"

Both are very good fighters in very different ways. The fans and spectators are the true winners here. You don't often get fights of this nature. Two undefeated fighters, both could turn out to be the divisions best.
The winner is a big player, the loser is still in there if they put up a good show.

 

Kovalev is a hype job though.

 

None of the judges are British for this fight and this is only Cleverly's second fight in Wales since 2007 so your assertion about Cleverly only fighting in his hometown is complete garbage. There's also a reason why Joe relied on Nathan so heavily as a sparring partner back in his early days even though certain folk were naggin Joe to get experienced sparring partners in.

 

A good sparring partner and your correct about the judges.

He's a moron. He predicted clev would outwork kovalev to a UD and called kovalev limited. Then after kov destroyed cleverly he again said he was 'limited' atsch

Lets get something straight, I never said he was a hype job! I stated that's how he is being viewed hence why they took the fight when they didn't have to! I stated he's very strong but I believe he gasses late in fights and is not as good as some where making him out to be, I mean people were saying he's another GGG.. BS he isn't nowhere near as good as GGG IMHO.. I believe Hopkins will fancy it with him now, only the TV channels might stop that from happening (HBO/Showtime) war that's going on at min.. I rate Kovalev higher than I did before the fight but to say he's untouchable at this weight is a joke.. I personally think if someone uses there brains in the first half of a fight with him then it'll get really interesting come the second half.. That was exactly what I expected NC to do! Not stand there pulling tounges and shaking his hips! Oh well that's the truth and that's it.. I ain't read the 6 pages tbh cos I can only imagine the leathering I've had.. as always thanks for the support.. I'd like to get on more but there is a fair few new wankers on here that know as much about boxing as my dog..

 

Just out of curiosity tony who do you view as more dangerous kovalev or Stevenson?

People trying to twist words to make an issue out of something is desperate,everything you said there is dead on Tony couldnt have put it better myself.Nathan picked him because he thought he was a hype job and I kind of still believe he is,I think Hopkins will beat him if they fight hel frustrate Kovalev and take him deep into the late rounds.As far as Nathan goes he fought the completely wrong fight and paid the penalty.Cautious,educated boxing was needed for the first 6 rounds of that fight,I loved the little pelvic thrust Kovalev did before he put Cleverly down though that was gold.

 

Liar! I said Stevenson was one of the biggest punchers P4P in the world which he clearly is.. I'd go as far as saying I rate Kovalev and Stevenson as just serious punchers! Lets be honest, neither is really hard to hit, both can also be hurt and are vulnerable! Stevenson knocking Dawson out was a huge shock as no one knew he was capable of doing that to a fighter of Dawson's level were as Kovalev is yet to go in to a second half of a fight with a fighter who is giving him something to think about.. I personally don't think either will be champion long.. Just my opinion though and like it or not I'm entitled to one.. I say it all the time but there like arseholes are opinions. Everyone has them wether you like it or not..:good
