How I imagine this works is as follows:

They give Floyd a list of parameters as to who he can fight, say anyone in the top 5 at ww or top 8 at jr middleweight and he can pick the fighter within that group.

Otherwise what's to stop Floyd from picking a journeyman and spending the next 5 fights just preserving his "0". and boring the hell out of us in the meantime. They may even have some rating clause that says if the rating are less then x , they get to pick the next fighter.

As mentioned I'm guessing but something along these lines seems to make sense from a business perspective.

Wouldnt even matter as pac won a lawsuit against floyd regarding peds accusations. Floyd wont escape that same criticism regarding peds. Wasnt there a tmt fighter suspended for having too much testosterone levels in his system?

pac had his chance. he blew it. arum didn't want it...and neither did pac. floyd has always been the better fighter and he would have beat pac the same way he beat gatti (rip)

If Arum believed Manny could beat Floyd he would move heaven and earth to make if happen.

Not make elaborate excuses like building a temporary stadium and cuts that need 6 months to heal.

Pac won a lawsuit...whoop dee do...that's the only way that juiced-up coward can beat him.

Funny he's supposed to be testing for recently Ko'd Rios.

He should have done that in 09 when he had a 5050 split and a 14 day cutoff:deal

Yo, its all good guys. No big deal if we don't see the fight, imo. We will still love boxing as it is.

Mayweather did more to make the fight than Plankman:deal

He accepted Manny's demands and even relented from 0 cuttoff to 14 days....that still wans't enough for the PINOY PUPPET.

Manny is begging now....he's kicking himself for not taking that 5050 split and 2 week cutoff.

The real question is Floyd was supposedly ducking DLH, Mosley, Canelo, Cotto ... yet they all fought. Why hasn't Pac? Sure seem likes the most nuthugging fans on this board just keep sucking Manny's nuts instead of looking at the obvious. It's PEDcquiao who hasn't fought Floyd. Canelo is way more dangerous than Pac.
