Put Archie in the eighties in place of Spinks. For all of Michael's title bouts and following his foray into the heavy division circa 1985-88.

i havent got time to do a full analysis, but interestingly, if Archie Moore had a career parallel with Spinks, he would have started in 1977 instead of 1935. That Means his second last fight would have been in 2005 against a fighter who was probably the best in the world, but was not yet regarded as teh best fighter in the world but soon would be, presumably that would be Wladimir Klitchsko and in his last fight he would knock out Proffessional Wrestler Brock Lesnar!

I would say that alone qualifies as a pretty impressive career, if he were from spinks' era.

Good post,Boilermaker. I envisage Archie being undefeated at 175 lbs. At heavyweight..................I'll have to think on it a bit longer.

Who would be the Marciano and Patterson? Would he be loseing in short time wise fashion to both Holmes and Tyson in that order?

Quite likely, I would have thought.

Another good one would be his 12 round middleweight draw with Eddie booker. Is that the equivalent of drawing with a 1984 Marvin Hagler?

And the Ezzard Charles series would probably equate to fights with Michael Spinks himself!

Maybe, I still think its sort of funny that moore would end with a fight with Brock, who has earn the right that he can fight when he won the UFC championship some years before. I didnt think at the time some one from the WWE could do that, but he prove me wrong.
