Anyone think this would have been a better fight than Senchenko ?

Senchenko has obviously got the fight off of his win over Ricky Hatton, Hatton had been out for over 3 years and was shot to ****, Senchenko still didn't look great in that fight, he was probably losing tbh and was coming off getting dominated, busted up and then stopped by Paulie Malignaggi.

Diego Chaves is coming off a loss to Keith Thurman, the only loss of his career in which I thought he put up a great effort and gave a very good account of himself.

I think Brook vs Chaves would have been a much better fight to make and much more dangerous too.

    Thoughts?

Chaves will be out for ages, unless the ywanted to wait a few months for Chaves to be in the mood to take the fight, anyway, Chaves confidence will be very low after a KO loss

Bigger name? Senchenko a draw?

Alright, I guess maybe over there, since doing the Hatton business. Outside the UK and Ukraine he is still rightly unknown, as he was during his paper title reign.

Ignoring all that, Chaves is a much better fighter h2h than Senchenko.

    ??????

I think you should start watching another sport, triangle theories have no place in boxing whatsoever. But he went 12 with so and so and that so and so got knocked out by this so and so and bla bla bla.

    Styles make fights not records.

    Here is the Weis KD:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc3cMQNVk6M&feature=player_detailpage#t=1710

He got caught with his pants down, lax on defense and so ate a big full-bore uppercut. It took several more shots backing him into a corner including a whipper behind the ear to finally get him to go to his knees. He recovered quickly and boxed well.

Weis actually got knocked out twice by Saldivia, if you want to nitpick, but having Weis' number head to head doesn't make Saldivia the better fighter. I don't think Saldivia would have given Judah a tough battle, defeated Augustus, handed Camacho Jr. his first defeat, outfought Tono Diaz (robbery), or lasted eight with N'Dam N'Jikam.

i think chaves would win he's a good counter puncher. And brook isn't as skillful as keith thurman, he'd get caught repeatedly and get worn down the longer the fight goes. If brook fought maidana i would back brook to win, maidana is very overrated, people forget how many times he's been hurt in his fights. of all the welterweight in argetina abragu and chaves are the 2 best.

Chaves stops Brook that guy throws some serious power punches
Brook slows down and his defense becomes non existent
