I have a sneaky suspicion this thread will be bumped to buzz off the OP for getting dead fooking wrong.

Please don't misinterpret, I stated I used to think you had a solid foundation in the subject of boxing and this has nothing to do with your prediction its the boldness of your prediction and the disrespect you've shown towards those detailing their justifications behind picking Garcia. Not sure why your so passionate about your selection but one thing I do know is your approach and tact can use a bit of polishing. You can bump what you want brother it will change nothing other than helping you build upon your shaky ego.....for me I'll just be doing a good deed by adding a much needed feather to your cap. No love lost here man, just a bit disappointed in you and myself for thinking I was a good judge of character. Peace

Lol people picking Garcia because they are angry at Matthysse fans was annoying me had to get them back
You got guys making prediction threads everyday bringing up the Zab and Alexander fights as if styles dont make fightz

But on a serious level you have to be a dumbass to be picking Garcia to win, guy has no head movement, his chin is good so he might survive 4-5 rounds

 

A lot of people look at Matthysse and think he's some sort of welterweight Rocky Marciano.

Matthysse is a lazy version of Marciano. Punch output and accuracy are vital for a slugger like Matthysse, and he just doesn't have it.

Against Alexander, Matthysse landed 139 punches in 10 rounds.

Against Archie Moore, Marciano landed over 400 punches in 9 rounds. Against Ezzard Charles, Marciano threw 100 punches in round 15 alone!

Stop hyping Matthysse, please. You guys DKSAB.

Peterson was afraid. Garcia is not afraid. His dad is too smart to allow that.

Danny Garcia is gonna cover up in the early rounds, take Matthysse into the later rounds, and beat him by late KO or decision.

 

I'm personally looking at this fight as a 50/50 fight. I don't get why a lot of people are completely overlooking Garcia and his abilities simply because Matthysse has power, didn't Matthysse go life and death with Judah?. That said, I fully expect Garcia to have a tough fight and possibly get hurt early but as rounds go he will slowly take over and land his own counters. Expect to see Matthysse hurt and backing off from his usual aggression after eating a few counters on his way in. Once Garcia hurts him and has him on the defensive rethinking his one and only go forward style, he's pretty much done. Garcia can fight defensively and aggressively, Matthysse can't. Anything is possible here and if Matthysse overwhelms Garcia early and blows him away then I'll be seriously impressed.

I don't think Garcia's team would have taken this fight if they didn't know they can win. They could easily taken the Amir Khan route of trash talking on twitter only to run for the hills when it comes to serious negotiations.

 

Angel's father is what changed me from a normal Garcia fan to a huge fan. Nothing cooler than having a funny smack talkin' old man. :deal

 

Im Picking against Garcia , Because i just cant see him getting his hand raised .
