Stevens a bigger threat than a Geale or a barker. He has that KO punch and is dangerous, I wouldn't take the fight if I was Golovkins management.that being said I would take Golvkin.

Stevens will be a threat for about 3 rounds, it's all 3G after that.

golovkin has to take this fight
theres nothing remotely close to being better on offer..and 3g needs to step up badly

kovalev, 3g, wilder....3 fighters who can punch but who haven't faced ****

Another easy night's work for GGG, but at least Stevens has the guts to take the fight.

Stevens' people, Duvas, did not want this fight. Stevens even said, in an interview, that it was not he who wanted the fight, it was Golovkin. However, this fight has not been signed yet, it's not final. Golovkin by knockout!!!

    Compare Golovkin/Macklin with Martinez/Macklin

Stevens is not a step up, though his punchers chance is better than any previous GGG opponent.

It's also a really unfair comparison with Wilder. Kovalev is coming off 2 top 10 wins this year. GGG has offered a fight to every MW top tenner, and would fight the champ yesterday.

That is correct.......................Golovkin wants to fight all the champions ASAP, then he will think about moving up in weight..........he would also like to fight Void, at 154, how he could make that weight I do not know.............

Stevens is a mere can-crusher, not a world class chin-checker.

You could totally be right. And maybe Im thinking 'too far out the box'.
I could def see a KO (for either guy) early on, and maybe it will be just as explosive as the hype will suggest it will be. A KO either way in this one will be huge and fun for the fans, and if Stevens KO's G, a star is born.

We will see though, idk why I just think we are likely to see a Golovkin decision in this one, its just that I think he can win this fight without taking the risks that come with stalking for the stoppage like he usually does. But should he go for the KO and get it, Ill be a happy man.

All I know is, I cant wait. :bbb

Polls mean nothing. GG is a overrated 31 year old hype machine who I hope gets beaten and humbled.
