Pulev will KO grandad Thompson

Man I just don't get the hype Pulev is getting. Pulev struggled and even got cut by limited tomato can Travis Walker and jabbed pathetic trash can Ustinov for 11 rounds and now a lot of people claims he will beat TT?? Pulev looked very limited in his last fight a year ago. Pulev has never fought anyone near as good as old TT. I think this will be a easy fight for Thompson. Ustinov is as slow as my grandfather and he landed on Pulev. Pulev is easy to hit and feasted on bums in his pro career. We all know why he gets so much hype on this forum and why he is ranked so high is a mystery.

 

Heavyweight prospects dropping like left and right makes people swarm to the next in line like flies to ****.

 

That's what I had in mind. Thompson looked awfully winded in both fights. I can't see him bringing on any type of pressure beyond round 5-6.

I think TT has a fighting chance, but like most I favor Pulev.

Given what madballster posted above, and similar comments by many others, why do you favor TT?

 

Pulev's best, and only outstanding asset is his jab, which will be just about completely neutralized by Thompson's southpaw stance. Thompson doesn't need to work on that aspect of the fight.

Pulev's style is too amateurish. Jab jab jab, throw a right hand in there and then clinch. Rinse lathe repeat. He is the definition of a one handed fighter.

Tony can hook, uppercut, jab, throw straights... With both hands, with power, from all angles...From long range and on the inside. He's an exceptional inside fighter for a heavyweight.

Pulev is going to get roughed up and outworked in the clinches. Pulev does nothing on the inside. Tony is not a complacent 300 pound dinosaur like Ustinov

I wouldn't be surprised to see a more competitive version of the beat down Thompson put on Kransniqi, another previously over hyped European fighter. Tony's bodywork wearing down someone who can only fight one way, in one gear.

 

Thompson did go down against Price, got up and beat him down. I say anyones fight, I hope TT wins cause I think he deserves another shot at the bigtime.

 

Maybe he did but go back and watch some of Pulev's fights. Man he is boring as hell and really has no talent at all. Pulev is untested at this level. Price at least had punching power. Chisora would beat Pulev for god sakes. Pulev is is a b class fighter at best and you will see what I mean this weekend. Thompson has been in with the best and even gave Wlad a hard fight the first time. Pulev has fought bums. TT will win by KO or on cuts. But if it goes the full 12 Pulev wins even if he loses every round because boxing judges are corrupt over there.

Pulev has paper easy to cut skin. Pulev will lose to Thompson and he will be cut up. Walker sucks and even Adamek KOed his glass chin ass. Enjoy your last days of hyping Pulev the fraud. Firstly, saying one false statement 1000 times will not make it true. In that context the so called by you glass jawed Walker was beaten to a state of brain damage by Pulev. In that match Kubrat was using him as a punching bag because he wanted to make the rounds, not because he couldn't knock him out. A 250 pound top HW can knock anyone out at any given time.

Further, stating that fighters like Ustinov and Pulev are "trash cans" and do not have power simply indicates your ignorance on the matter. Stop speaking like you are better than Wladimir. How many times have you been on the ring you moron? I bet your belly goes further than your "10 inch". If any of those guys land on you'll drop dead.

Also, yes Pulev cuts easy because of the features of his face. However, no one cuts easier than Wladimir and he is number one for 10 years so stop saying this bs every time like a ******. Its boxing and it happens all the time to all.

Pulev is a top 5 fighter if not a top 3. For reference check every ranking list that you can find. Like it or not this is the situation!
