Yes, easy. He's much easier opponent than Canelo or JMM. The problem is PEDcquiao won't fight Floyd, Manny is a lying politician who says one thing and does another.
:nut too bad floyd isn't as confident as you....watch the video and listen about how scary pacquiao was according to floyd. [yt]y31Xq5tzbLM[/yt]
I saw one or two people in here mention that Canelo is a "cherry pick". I don't know if Pac is still my avy on here, but the short hand is that Pacquiao is my all time favourite fighter. I've not always been the biggest Floyd fan, but to me Canelo is a SERIOUS threat to his title. People like Cotto, Mosley etc. to me are tailor made for Mayweather. I'd actually be more impressed if he fought even a worse fighter like Khan. Cotto and Mosley are really boxer punchers, and Floyd can keep them coming forward so he can duck and dive and land counters with relative ease. They have no real greater ability than Floyd in any aspect, where as someone like Khan has at least great hand speed. But with Canelo, you've got a big, strong guy, who not only can use it, but he also is a boxer. He will work behind his jab, he will work his way into the fight, and he will actually use technique and strategy, where as Cotto and Mosley just do what they always do. Canelo might not be better than Mayweather, but he can be better on the night, and not many other people in the world could do that. This to me will be the best fight of Mayweather's career, at least since he became the superstar he is now, and it's a fantastic fight. I have gained so much more respect for Mayweather over the last year. He seems to have grown up a lot, and has left that dickheadish persona for Broner to copycat with. He's not all business, and has an opponent that will be a VERY reputable win for his record. If Mayweather keeps this up, fighting the guys that even the sceptics like me see as a challenge, then he will EASILY surpass Muhammad Ali as the greatest of all time, as I believe his skill set is already that of the best ever. I'd still like to see him fight Pacquiao, as unlike everyone else, I don't think Pac has lost it and I think he'll be outstanding Vs Rios as for the first time in ages, it's a fight that shows off Pac's skills. With Mayweather fighting Canelo, who to me would be a tougher stylistic opponent than Pac, I think maybe we'd see the fight happen. I wouldn't count on it though. That fight alone has drove me to be an MMA fan before a boxing fan.
Get it right *****. Which is it.... He will not fight Floyd, or he is begging for a fight? Both are ***** answers.
As a Pacquiao fan, I condemn you from saying *****. It's ridiculously stupid and not even insulting or funny. Agreed, it's not even close to "PEDcquiao", which is even a challenge to say, but stop making us all look like terrible fans just because you can't keep your feelings about a boxer in check on the internet.
Buddy, I am a fan of both fighters by the way. Just in case you have been in the MMA scene a little too long, *****s= crazy fanatic off the wall nothing else matters but the taste of Floyd's balls sweats fans. I am not sure if u have noticed but I have never used any other names for Floyd but just Floyd or Mayweather. I truly believe that both are to blame and if they did fight, the odds are in Floyd's favor.
Canelo is not a cherry pick , Floyd has no choice because the Guerrero fight did not sell well (ppvs ). Do you think if the Floyd/Guerrero fight sold over 1.5M ppvs we will be seeing Canelo/Floyd fight this coming September?
He's a fan of Mayweather. I know full well of the ***** Vs ******* stuff, but it's stupid as **** and makes you look stupid for saying it. I imagine old Floyd would have retired had that been the case. Floyd seems now to be ready to silence the doubters. I said a while ago "No way Mayweather will fight Canelo. He's too scared. He'll probably fight Guererro and then someone like Garcia". Whether he was told to or not, Mayweather is stepping into the ring with the biggest threat to his 0 imo since before the DLH fight. He gets my respect for it. (That's why I prefer MMA these days. Oh, you don't want to fight him? Have fun trying to feed your kids outside of the UFC).
I think we'd be seeing it anyway, but the guerrero sells pretty much cemented it wont take much for showtime to chase a rematch either
You know what. He has said he would do it in the past, and even called him out but never fought him. Because floyds contradicts himself alot, maybe he will surprise everyone and fight him later
if floyd ever fights pacquiao, i expect he still won't get the respect he already deserves. i'm sure haters already have their excuses lined up
You drama queens act like this is a big f*cking deal. It's not like the fight was gonna happen anyway.
