Hopkins picked Peterson to beat Matthysse.

Garcia picked Peterson to beat Matthysse.

Matthysse beat Alexander, had him on the canvas, but was cheated by Alexander's referee and judges in his home town. Most believe that Matthysse won that fight and he did. Kotelnik also beat Alexander.

Matthysse beat Judah, had Judah crawling on the canvas, but Judah had his own personal referee and judges in his home town. Most believe that Matthysse was robbed, including Al Bernstein along with almost everyone else except Judah and Alexander's fans. Judah sure put the hurt on Garcia in the last few rounds!

Matthysse's punches are shorter than Garcia's. He has much better stamina. His punches are much harder, better defense, punches are more accurate, and he has a better chin. This could be a war, but Garcia will have to improve a lot to beat Matthysse, unless Garcia owns the referee and judges..............

 

Not even worried about the judges or the ref.

 

Accepting all lifetime ban bets.

 

It's a close to 50-50 fight with Matthyse being the slight favorite.

I'd still call it a pickem though.

 

Matthyse got power. Danny is better. Danny got this.

 

Hard fight to call , but im going with Danny Boy.

Garcia really only starting knocking guys out with the left hook since Morales and Khan. Before that he was laying guys out with the right hand.
Garcia is a boxer and a puncher with KO power in both mitts.

 

Garcia is slow, likes to exchange and is very hittable.

Not the recipe to beat Lucas

 

Garcia could possibly run his way to a points decision so you're not a dumbass if you pick Garcia. Having said that Matthysse late KO/TKO is my pick.

Lucas isn't letting this go to the scorecards... Even if he has easily won every round leading up to the final rounds.

 

Look, you can try to discredit Garcia all day long. It doesnt matter what you think or say about Garcia. He's earning the right to be here and thats it. This is a good match up and a great fight for boxing.
