It has gone three rounds. :rofl atsch It's a back and forth battle, "both men landing big shots". :rofl atsch
Have you seen Rodriguez neck or watched him take punches?:think It would be a very unwise decision for team Wilder to take that risk. Rodriquez may be crude offensively, going to the body like a WW, but the guy is like a bulldog getting inside, often taking huge shots and walking right thru them to the inside. Monsour is a lot more "slick" than Wilder, and he'd fare much better, especially considering he has at least proven he could take the shots from a Guinn and a Harris type.:think
If Amir Mansour couldn't stop Maurice Harris, he's not a very big puncher. Tony Thompson stopped Harris easily.
If the 116-112 was accurate then that's humiliating. It wasn't on TV, so I didn't watch it. But if Mansour is going to ***** about not getting big time fights and is going to take easy fights against guys that have been stopped 10+ times, he should at least score a knockdown. I'm hoping Mansour is a good fighter that can add some interest to the HW division, so hopefully it was a 12-0 easy shutout and the one judge simply scored it poorly.
I guess to be fair to Mansour, this is probably the best fight he could get, and if someone really wants to fight a shi.tty clinchfest they can.
It's not humiliating. Harris is no bum. He took a few rounds but there is no shame in that. Amir fought cautiously and was not aggressive enough, but Harris was a live underdog and Amir did not want to take any risks.
No, but I've spoken to two people who had ringside seats. Both agreed the 120-108 cards were ridiculous and that Harris took 2-4 of the first 6 rounds but from then on it was all Mansour. Never really went for the KO, but did wobble him a couple of times.
