Lewis KO 4 Rahman, one better. And your triangle theory yeah man - Lewis KO Rahamn who KO Corrie Sanders who DESTROYED Wlad. So Lewis destroys BOTH Klits in one argument. So much for your triangle theory, you just KOed both Klits in the early rounds...
They can cry all they want, the damn decision is there forever. Same goes to the draw between Holyfield and Lewis. That was a far bigger travesty than anything that happened in this fight.
If Vitali had hired a better cutman the outcome might've been different. The idiot pawed at Vitali's cut with a towel. I was pissed off during the fight, and I'm still pissed off...and I'm a Lewis fan.
It was a competitive fight that he was leading in and ended up taking so much damage that it was stopped. Yes, he was leading, but not by a ton, he landed the workrate and Lewis landed the far more noticeable and harder shots - the bombs. People act like Vitali was whipping his ass with nothing in return for six rounds and an accidental cut resulted in a tko6. The fight was a six round competitive war and Lewis was victorious. Which by the way, Lennox was 38, past his prime and not in the best condition by any stretch and he still won. So no need to discredit a much greater fighter in Lennox Lewis.
:deal thread starter is a troll 58-56 58-56 58-56 ahead on all 3 scorecards and Vitali took the fight on 10 days notice Vitali schooled him, beat him up, and obviously destroyed him mentally as well as Lewis pussied out of a rematch everybody know Vitali was the real winner of the fight
Also worth noting that Vitali in the early 2000s was way better than he is since his return after that 4 year break. He was quicker, sharper and well - younger and in his prime. He's slow now, the reason he doesn't get hit as much is not defensive improvements, but a serious lull in opposition. Lewis and Sanders tagged him up because they were good fighters - Arreola and co. are mediocre fighters.
atsch He was up 2 points, that doesn't indicate a schooling, it indicates a competitive fight through six. Every round of that fight saw both men landing telling blows, a hard fought battle and Lewis was the one that landed the more damaging blows... obviously... You Klitschko fans are clueless. Had the fight been allowed to continue, Vitali could have lost his eyesight in that eye forever and it was an injury from what? A legal punch that Lewis landed.... The real winner of the fight was the guy who attained the victory, not the guy with the potentially career ending injury on his face.
what he should have done is exactly the same Vitali won the fight, Lewis would never have knocked Vitali out he hit him with his best uppercut and couldnt hurt him, VItalis chin is pure granite whereas Lewis had a shaky chin getting KO'd by bums like Mccall and Rahman lol. Vitali would have knocked him out. Too many haters of the Klitschkos on here, anyone who has watched the fight knows Vitali won the fight ,look at the crowds reaction, the commentators reaction, the way the fighters were posturing after the fight , quit trolling and bur your racial biasedness aside
a victory via a cut is no victory, especially when lewis was losing 4 rds to 2 Lennox Lewis himself knows very well that he lost his fight to Klitschko. He also knows that he was not man enough to accept the rematch. Thats why he is suffering mentally since vitali forced him into retirement Lewis should have come back to fight him again. But he was afraid of vitali badly. the art of boxing is to NOT get hit. lewis had a suspect chin, Vitali would always have been superior, a great fighter with a granite chin always beats a great fighter with a suspect chin escpecially at heavyweight vitali will be remembered as great champion lennox will be remembered as coward
lewis was shot at the end of rd6. watch the vid, he slumps onto his stool, exhausted. lewis wud have been ko’d. lets face it, it wudnt have been the first time. Vitali was the winner that night no matter what the records say
Vitali lost the fight. He won the first two rounds and could have finished Lewis off but he didn't and thereafter Lewis got the measure of him. Lewis was landing cleaner and heavier shots from the 3rd round onwards and was not respecting Vitali's power in the later rounds - I believe Foreman even makes the comment that Lewis had no respect for Vitali's power - Vitali was picking up rounds on the cards due to a superior workrate. In the 6th round Lewis rocked Vitali and Vitali was reduced to holding on desperately to prevent Lewis getting the room to throw a clean shot as the round came to an end, so while Vitali did withstand Lewis's best shots it is a lie, a fallacy, to act as if Lewis wasn't hurting him. It was a close fight, but Vitali had his chance to end it in the 2nd and he failed to do so. That is entirely on him. If he had been good enough to get the job done we would not be here a decade or so later talking about who deserved to get the win. And anyone who watched the fight knows that Vitali lost. The doctor stopped it due to the severity of the cuts he suffered, and only the most delusional Klitschko Fanboys deny that the doctor's stoppage was fully justified. Anyone who watched it also knows that Vitali was up on the cards when the fight was stopped, but most rational people also know that being up on the cards when the fight is stopped is irrelevant if your the fighter who cannot continue or who the ringside doctor will not allow to continue. Bringing up McCall and Rahman's KO victories over Lewis doesn't make Lewis look bad, it make Vitali look bad. Here is a fighter in Lewis who famously had a suspect chin and was knocked out by B-Level opposition with one-punch in both fights yet the great Vitali Klitschko who has one of the best KO ratios in the history of the sport couldn't manage the same.
What is it with these Klitschko fans seriously? Is it racism? Is it homo***uality? Is it "just being stupid" or "just being new boxing fans"..... something with them is seriously wrong.....
