    I actually don't even think it will be all that competitive. No disrespect to Mares, but his trump card in almost every match-up is that he is the vastly superior body puncher. That simply won't be the case here. Santa Cruz has an iron chin and can dish out much greater punishment downstairs than Mares can; it will be a shock to Mares' system... and if Darchinyan can put him down then so can Santa Cruz, except Santa Cruz unlike old Vic has the work rate and relentlessness to finish the job.

    Mares and LSC are Golden Boy so they would have to end the TR HBO feud which will hopefully happen in the next year or two to make fights like this happen.
