    He is asked his thoughts on being co-featured with Mayweather and Canelo.

    He says even with no title on the line it would be a massive honor.

    He is asked if he is always this soft-spoken.

    He smiles and says yes.

    Brian tells Matthysse to wave and say hi to his fans. Matthysse says OK, thanks for inviting me and thank you fans.

    Great fun while it lasted!!! I actually gave Terrazas the 1st round, but didn't think there was any way he could keep up that pace and performance for 12 rounds, and indeed he could not. Santa Cruz is DEADLY with his relentless pace and punch output, and for a fighter of his height and reach, he is BRILLIANT on the inside!!! That said, Terrazas was able to hit Santa Cruz pretty regularly, and as Malignaggi brilliantly analysed, it was really Terrazas' complete and utter lack of lateral movement after doing his inside work, that led to his demise in this fight. Going forward, Santa Cruz said he'd take 2 more fights at 122 before moving up, but it seems clear to me that anyone besides Rigondeaux at 122 would be a waste of time, I hope the GBP vs TR Cold War could thaw out for that fight to happen. Props to Santa Cruz for showing the love for his brother, glad he has recovered from his illness. One more note, Santa Cruz needs to take off his gloves when the fight is over, he kept his gloves on through the postfight interview, and even though his punch output and relentless uppercuts caused Terrazas' right eye to scarily close inside 3 rounds, leaving the gloves on postfight invites speculation.
