Yeah, he really looked good against Ustinov...................Pulev is for real, Vlad can't take him for granted, not at all. However, I think Vlad will still knock him out, but who else, except Vitali could do that?!
Wlad is much faster than Pulev and would beat him to the punch every time. Obviously this won't go voer the distance, would be a highlight reel KO.
Good post. Wlad wont be as tricky for Pulev as the Tiger was. Pulev has only power to fear from Wlad , skill for skill , Wlad comes up short.
Dino knows his time is coming, Wlad versus Povetkin is approaching. Dino is also ducking vaginas.
Pulev has an unbeakable will, you cant teach that in boxing. His patience, focus , determination will break Wlad down. Wlad cant take getting pepperd like Thomson was. He'll panic and lose his stamina. There a reason Pulv kept getting fobbed off and Thompson getting fast tracked. K2 want no part of Pulev. He cant hide any more. Haye would be Pulev's bogeyman. Wald suits him fine.
I believe that Pulev will be a tougher test for Wlad than Povetkin, due to his larger build, greater height, and jab-centric offense. Povetkin appears to have greater power than Pulev, but seems to be tailor made for Wlad due to his size and style. However, Pulev's lack of power does not bode well for him against Wlad. With less to fear, Wlad can afford to be more aggressive. Pulev certainly won't be as awkward as Ibragimov or Thompson I for Wlad because they were both southpaws. That being said, he has clearly earned his place in line after Povetkin to challenge Wlad, only the winner of Haye-Fury comes close. In fact, I would place Pulev's recent work higher than Povetkin's, as Povetkin's challenge for the title is more due to his having earned (and wasted) it years ago.
When Chambers pulled out of the final elimantor , Thompson was made immediate mandatory....He beat beyond top 15 ranked Price and passes everybody in the top 10 to get another final elimantor....Pulev kept getting knocked back all the time...If Wlad gets past Povetkin , surely Wlad v Pulev will be next.
