Pulev will get killed by Wlad

Wlads power and bear hugs saves his ass , more so than his boxing ability.

 

hehe Pulev likes to hug too. Its going to be a lovely hugs intensive match.

We all know that Vlad cuts very easy, if Pulev manages to survive initial power shots and land jabs like he did with Ustinov then his chances are considerably bigger. A serious cut can ruin the game of everyone, even Vlad.

I am also interested by Povetkin somehow pulling the upset and then we watch Povetkin vs Pulev.:!:

 

If Pulev had power, then I'd say it's a real fight. However, since Pulev doesn't possess much pop and since he's not an inside fighter, then we are left with the fight taking place predominantly at mid/long range. Which generally bodes well for the lengthier, taller and more powerful fighter.

The fact that Pulev is not a puncher, might allow Wlad to let his hands go more, like he did in the Thompson rematch. And Wlad is very effective then. It is still an interesting match, as Pulev's jab will certainly be an issue, but eventually, I see Wlad taking over and imposing himself with his power.

 

Wach caused Wlad to require stitches from one puch. There's a high risk of his face being ripped up against Pulev , but Wlad would probably get the KO........Im putting money on Povetkin to beat Wlad.

 

Pulev cuts easy as well. Pulev lacks punching power. Pulev has no chance of beating WLad or Povetkin.

 

I just don't see what you see in Pulev. He won yesterday but he looked like **** and TT looked slow and old as hell. Maybe I'm missing something?? Watching Pulev fight is like watch paint dry. He has no power and is boring as hell to watch.

 

Yeah , the fight turned out to be a bit ****. I expected more...It takes skill to beat TT, he didn't just beat him , he broke his will and spirt as well. If he can wear down Wlad and have him retreating like TT was he could tko him. Wlad dont have the moves on the inside and on the back foot like Thompson....Pulev aint a great fighter by any means, just one of the best of the bad bunch thats out there.

You people supporting this thread really have no shame at all. What's next, a thread saying that Wilder would 'kill' Wladimir Klitschko?

Pulev earned his shot at the world title. He took his time, then routinely defeated Thompson, who is btw considered a top 10 fighter. He beat very quality opposition and is a world title mandatory challenger after only 18 fights. Tell me another current HW boxer with resume as good as Pulev's after only 18 fights. Not to mentioned the top 10 fighters who chose not to fight him, despite the fact that a victory over Pulev guarantees a shot at the world title.

On the other side there is a prospect who doesn't have a single quality win after 29 fights and is yet to step up and fight someone from the actual top 30.

Don't get me wrong, Wilder is a talented and very likable, respectful guy, unlike some of the trash talkers who are a disgrace to the sport.

But you guys who are shamelessly discrediting Pulev and saying that he would get 'killed' by somebody unproven like Wilder are nothing but a useless trolls who shouldn't be taken seriously.

Wlad beats guys because hes big and awkward and throws a big punch.
He couldn't even beat no hopers like Mormek and Pianeta with clean boxing.
He's nowhere near a skilled , technical boxer, just a limited straight ahead puncher who towerd over a useless era of heavy weights.

 

I don't know but the 3 left hooks against mormeck did seem alot like clean boxing to me

And the left-right-lefthook combo that dropped Pianeta looked pretty clean to me.

Wladimir is a boxing expert who happens to pack a punch.

Thats more hugging than boxing. Against Mormek of all people.

 

Pulev's jab can only be compared to Vlad's jab. It is A VERY POWERFUL shot.
