Wilder, like Haye wouldn't take the fight. No disrespect to their boxing abilities, but the simple fact is that these two are unlikely to just go ahead and make a fight like Pulev.

What I like about Pulev is with no drama he matched up with a top ten fighter in TT and within a short space of time the fight came to pass and he won it.

Wilder may be a killer of top ten opposition in coming years, but until he makes some statements against top 30 HWs people should just STFU with the hypotheticals.

Exactly! When are "boxing fans" gonna learn? Wilder is a total FRAUD, who has faced the worst collection of cab drivers and construction workers ever assembled as "opponents" for an Olympic prospect. And he's been doing it for FIVE YEARS!!

And even with this clear attempt on the part of his management to protect him from getting exposed, his glass jaw has been nearly shattered twice by his limited "opposition."

Pulev - or any decent HW - would DESTROY this fraud.

Yanks can no longer use the term "European hypejob" or "Eurobum" with their disgraceful arse licking of Deontay "When am I actually going to fight someone" Wilder

If Wilder was a Eurobum with that atrociously padded record and getting hyped so much there would be 60 threads a day on here taking the **** out of him

It was hilarious after he stopped a semiretired Liakhovich they came on here saying "Wilder can KO anybody, Wilder would destroy Haye, he would destroy Fury, he's the only one with a chance against the Klitschkos" then I said "Put him in with the Haye Fury winner then" and the response was "No...That's too much of a step up, too soon, I don't think he's ready for that yet, he started boxing late etc etc"

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Wilder is a train wreck waiting to happen. Pulev is a well schooled
fighter with excellent timing and precision. Why do we allow these
chatroom losers to come onto this site?

You people supporting this thread really have no shame at all. What's next, a thread saying that Wilder would 'kill' Wladimir Klitschko?

Pulev earned his shot at the world title. He took his time, then routinely defeated Thompson, who is btw considered a top 10 fighter. He beat very quality opposition and is a world title mandatory challenger after only 18 fights. Tell me another current HW boxer with resume as good as Pulev's after only 18 fights. Not to mentioned the top 10 fighters who chose not to fight him, despite the fact that a victory over Pulev guarantees a shot at the world title.

On the other side there is a prospect who doesn't have a single quality win after 29 fights and is yet to step up and fight someone from the actual top 30.

Don't get me wrong, Wilder is a talented and very likable, respectful guy, unlike some of the trash talkers who are a disgrace to the sport.

But you guys who are shamelessly discrediting Pulev and saying that he would get 'killed' by somebody unproven like Wilder are nothing but a useless trolls who shouldn't be taken seriously.

Its funny the casuals like Farmboxer only bring up statistics
They dont bring up Wilder has a speed, power, height and reach advantage over most people in the division

Everyone who comes up in boxing will be a underdog in a fight and have to prove themselves

Wilder would be the underdog but stylewise everything is to his advantage, Pulev has terrible reflexes he would get hit early, if his chin holds up he could win but i doubt it does

Respectful? I heard wilder say from his own lips that because he sparred
both Wlad and Vitaly, and supposedly put it on both of them too well, that
they want to rethink retirement before ever giving him a shot.:patsch
This dumb country f--k doesn't know that Wlad and Vit were taking it
easy trying to teach him something. Something he'll learn the hard way
before he ever gets to the level of either brother.

Seems like some people can't get past nationality and/or race. Wilder is plain terrible technically. He has good power and decent handspeed, but that alone is not enough. I think he'll lose as soon as he steps up.

Pulev on the other hand is a highly skilled fighter, very relaxed and fluid in the ring. Definitely in top 5 of the HW division, together with Povetkin, Haye and Klitschko brothers. I think he will not beat Wladimir, but for others he'll be hard to beat. Boxers avoiding him already speaks for itself. Big credit for Tony for taking the fight.

As bad as Wilder is technically, he is still a dangerous fight for anyone in the HW. Anyone.

And if he continues to improve his technique over the next couple of years, there's no telling.

Unlike everyone here who just can't wait for him to get KO'd, I hope he continues to take his time and move along slowly until he can get a few more safe fights. Once he sharpens his jab, gets a little more comfortable with slipping shots, and works to make sure his stamina holds up, then he should step it up a bit. But not until then. Even if it takes a couple of years, so be it. Let the naysayers continue to complain and wait for it.

If he's brought along right, he will be extremely hard to beat for any fighter.

Yeah, there is a REASON that Wilder's management put him in with stiff after stiff for five years, and is only now "stepping up" to washed up former fringe contenders!!!!

Pulev - or any live body - would annihilate him, exposing his fragile whiskers for EVERYONE to see.:yep

The reason the thread says Pulev will get killed by Wilder, is because Pulev doesn't have the power to expose anything. More than likely Wilder will just steamroll him like everybody else

Of course Pulev has the better rcd. However, they could very well make for an entertaining fight. DW can win if he catches Pulev with a big right. OTOH, what happens after the early rounds? Pulev has top stamina.

DW is still young for a HW, but there are so many questions for him. How will he perform in late rounds, when he gets tagged, etc?
