I agree that his jab wasnt his main thing against Trout, but you have to bear in mind that Trout is a southpaw. That is critical information for making any judgments on his jab for that fight. Canelo has a good jab, and way better combinations.

the Shane that fought Floyd was coming up an impressive win and people were like: there is no way in Hell Floyd is fighting monster Shane mosley NO WAY.!!! one of those people was Freddie Roach....... Shane came at Full welter not Drained like he did when he faced Pac nor Blown up when he face Canelo....

the Shane that Floyd beat and outboxed was on shape(147) and coming of a good win....

the Shane that Canelo beat was coming off streight loses and had to move to 154... Bif difference

With all this jab talk, people tend to overlook that Mayweather has one of best jabs in the sport himself.

Well Mayweather's jab is laser-like in its precision, so it doesn't matter if you think Canelo's jab is better than Oscar's because in this fight Floyd will have the upper hand in that department.

And IMO DLH had a much better jab at pretty much any point in his career compared to Alvarez.

All that you've said is that Mosley was marketable at the time he fought Floyd. Marketability means nothing to the condition of a fighter. The condition of a fighter is determined...by the condition of the fighter. If you or anyone just apply eye-sight and clear vision, then it's obvious that Shane was shot against all Floyd, Pacquiao and Canelo. The fact that he was coming off a win against a unloaded Margarito, at 38years old and after a 1 year layoff, is totally irrelevant to the condition of Shane when he fought Floyd.

And I'm curious, why was Shane "drained" against Pacquiao? You sound weird dude.
