:deal Murray would beat Quillin with hardly any problems, he'd completely dominate him. Murray is one of the toughest basstards in boxing he comes across as a guy who would fight anyone anywhere HAHA fuuck off you TROLL If a p4per like Martinez couldn't stop him how the fuuck is a paper champ like Quillin gonna stop him lol Murray has proved himself to be a top 4 middleweight, the best UK middleweight, he just in most peoples eyes beat a great fighter in his hometown so should be world champion in the strongest division in boxing, have some respect for a top boxer whilst your trolling in your armchair doing nothing.
Murray can't fight in the USA because he can't obtain a visa because of his criminal past if that's what he means If the fight was offered in England like Schaefer is saying there MUST have been some terms of the deal that were stupid, remember Sturm's offer to Macklin for a rematch LOL, Schaefer didn't tell the whole story there I think you should change the title of the thread as clearly in the interview Schaefer said he had problems with Poxon, ne never said a word about Murray turning down the fight There was a poll in the general forum not long ago, Murray vs Quillin who wins? and Murray got 90% of the vote and that was in a forum of mostly yanks haha Murray would probably fight Quillin for nothing, Murray would give that yank a beating
Thank God! A sensible voice at last about the overhyped Martin Murray. Personally I am not sold on Murray all that much. He has been very lucky in his biggest fights so far. Nick Blackwell was injured, I believe. Sturm beat him clearly...I scored it 116 112 to Felix. A combination of the old Styles make Fights issue, plus Multiple injuries to Martinez plus also a huge size advantage all served to flatter him versus Sergio. He is a good basic boxer, but a bit one paced and limited....he hides behind huge arms/tight guard and plods through fights. Also I question his engine.
No,I seem to recall him not being allowed in a while ago because of his past. Also I think 2 trainers, one being Peter Fury, not being let in the US recently.Murrays crimes must have been a long time ago,and as far as I know he hasn't murdered anybody,so they're a bit harsh.Good job GB hasn't applied the same rules, wed no doubt have missed some good fights.
You obviously don't think much of Quillin if you think Murray stops him inside distance! I'm not wild about Quillin either. But remember that such legendary hard nuts as Karim achour (10) and Peter Mitreviski Jr (12) have taken Martin the distance recently. For all his imposing physical presence in the ring Murray is not that big of a puncher at all. Also Quillin is a huge middle too, and as far as I know, is not particularly chinny. So I wouldn't be too sure of Murray stopping him at all. But you are right about Quillin not being that hectic, unless he has better to show us yet.
Murray drew with Sturm in a fight I thought he won and was robbed against Sergio in Argentina,he should beat Peter..
Strongest division in boxing lol so much hate in one post you fat pub guy Martinez was terrible because of his injuries most people woulda beat him that 'A p4per like Martine couldnt stop him' :rofl see you dumb casuals dont know what your talking about styles make fights not the statisitics or because hes p4p If you think Murray could just walk down Quillin with a high guard your just stupid, but this is the same forum that were picking Cleverly to beat Kovalev so what can i say And i do boxing mate so you can say armchair but i doubt you ever stepped in a gym before in your life
Murry is good but Quillen is much better.Easy night for Chocolate-thats why he was willing to go to the UK.
He doesn't have huge pop, granted, but he does hit hard enough. Also of the two you mentioned, Achour has never been stopped and Mitrevski has only been stopped the once. Quillin and his management make me laugh anyway, giving it stacks about how he would do this and that to GGG knowing fine well the fight will never be made. He would get torn apart.
quillin ain't no walkover.... and in my humble opinion i think he beats murray lets hope they can sort out an agreement in the future.
