Yeah, Rigo vs. Russell would be interesting. I doubt if we will see Rigo fighting again anytime soon though...........

No one will fight Rigo willingly, unless he agrees to move up in weight or get older

Gonzalez has a vulnerable chin, therefore there's always the possibility of him being caught. But he's far more experienced than Russell who's only fought cans. Not to mention Russell has an achilles heel of his own in the form of brittle hands. If he hurts them during the fight, Gonzalez will tear him up.

Anyone with half the skills that Russell has can look good against a can. I hope he steps up and takes this fight! I think the kids got the goods he just needs a big win and name on his resume. I'm going with Russell via UD

How do you know he's "that good" if he only fought nobodies? He has looked terrible his last 2 fights.

It's an interesting fight. Speed vs godlike K.O power. One punch is all it takes.

He looked terrible his last 2 fights?

    Hate does in fact blind..:deal

Russell has more than speed....he has power in both hands and better movement than anybody named Gonzales.

Russell does need to step up but Gonzales may be a bit much right now.

Russell has all the skill, athleticism, speed, etc to make you want to say he'd be able to deal with Gonzales. The problem is that he's looking good against guys nowhere near that level.

I'd prefer to see Russell take a nice step up in his next fight than challenge Gonzales but if it does happen next I won't complain.

Russel JR does need to step up by now he should be fighting upper top ten guys and forcing his way to a title shot by beating top fighters.

Ryota Murata just fought a fighter with a 21-7-1 and current OPBF title holder in his pro debut.

Vasl Lomachenko pro debut will be against Jonathan Qquendo who has a record of 23-3 in his pro debut and likely a World title shot in a few fights if all goes well.

Russel JR is talented and quite likely going to hold titles in the future, but I don't think it is hating to question his opposition so far.
