Anyone else think Beltran might beat Burns ?

Well if you think Beltran has no chance what the hell is the point of the fight? Your basically saying its a crap fight if you don't think Beltran has any chance to win.

 

I think hes got a very good chance,listened to him on Leave it in the Ring podcast a few weeks ago and he sounds hungry,he came up the hard way and now has a chance to be a world champion.

I think Ricky has his work cut out for him and Beltran is going to surprise a lot of people.

 

Beltran is a hungry fighter and very good but please believe me when I say Ricky is the best LW in the world at present and Beltran will find out first hand come the 7th

 

Dont know much about Beltran,but obviously very accomplished.Burns is,and has been for a long time,a fighting champion.As he appears such a good lad,no edge to him,and also because I want him to continue as a BRITISH world champ,Ill be yelling for him.If,God forbid,he did lose,hell still have done great.

 

I think Ricky will stop Beltran in a tough one

 

I watched Beltran Lundy and Bogere last night .I always route for Burns all the way and love a hard 50/50 competitive fight that's boxing .I thought Burns Mitchell was 50/50 and was well impressed by Burns .Beltran does look good was well impressed last night the way he rocked Bogere with that uppercut in the 8th ( solid fighter ) I read on the scene he's no easy nights work for any lightweight .Hopefully a Burns ko for me though .

I too like Burns and haven't watched Beltran (I will before the fight), and I hope & expect a Burns victory.

BUT as I've said before watching Ricky can cause a great deal of anxiety, especially that last outing. I don't know what it is, he seems to suggest in his manner that I am good and I WILL do it, but he at times leaves you worried in the mix.

I've stated too, that I believe lateral movement was a major 'missing' ingredient to his fighting arsenal, I hope they have seen this too.

anyway, I'm not only expecting Ricky to win in good form, but I fear he has too or his top fighting level will not be quite the very top.

 

And Billy Nelson is the definition of a hungry trainer.

 

Of course he has a chance, but Ricky is his best against strong, come forward fighters, Beltran doesn't have the finesse to trouble Burns in a boxing match, and it's not like Burns is fragile in a brawl

Seriously he has one of the best if not the best defence in the UK and you in your wisdom think he needs lateral movement lol,your a mile out pal

Billy you come across as a complete ***** to anyone who has a different view to you. Good luck to Ricky hope he smashes Beltran and I believe he will do. There is just 1% of me that wants him to lose to see that billy boy eat humble pie.
