Are Bradley's handlers making a mistake?

Does anyone else think its kind of risky having Bradley spar with Lucas after all of the damage he suffered in his last fight against the Russian? There seems to be a theory out there that a significant amount of the brain damage that boxers suffer tends to happen during sparring because fighters are more willing to take hits based on the false assumption that they are not absorbing significant brain trauma while wearing head gear. Well, if that's the case l, I can't think of a better fighter to deliver brain damage in sparring than Lucas. Bradley's handlers are making a mistake.

    Don't think so.

He's cashing out on the Pac "win", and when he makes it the full 12 and has it even remotely close he might actually get the nod again.
It's pretty hard to beat an American fighter at home soil without knocking him out, and sometimes that even isn't enough.

If you have a long professional career in professional boxing you are going to get some damage to the head, even if you are a Mayweather. If he is sparring Matthysse that is good sparring for both guys.

This is sad but after the Pac result you could easily see this happening.

In regards to the original question. I don't think it is a mistake, anytime you can get a world class fighter as a sparring partner do it. I would love to see those sparring sessions.

I do think Bradley is showing early signs of decline. The last fight against Ruslan he just did not look good. He was on the brink of being ko'd too much of the fight.

my reaction turned out to be completely off topic because I thought it was about facing Marquez and probably losing.
But sparring with a guy like Lucas will only get your toughness in check, and they can stop whenever they want

Why would it be a mistake to spar with a top level fighter, SRR fought often I believe this is one of the things that honed his skills when he was a younger fighter. He did have brain damage at the end of his career as do a lot of boxers. Bradley will be alright for his fight with Marquez and in my opinion will win his fight against Marquez. I'm not trying to say that Marquez is bad but he has been showing his age in his last 2 fights against Paquioa. I believe it is time for Marquez to retire he will take more damage from thr feather fisted Bradley Because he will be resigned to try and land the KO punch after about 4 rounds when his stamina runs out. I could be wrong but really I dont think so.

Matthysse is the one making a mistake facing a fighter that is a head first in fighter who cant crack a egg, contrary to Garcia is a highly advanced counter puncher, who can switch it go in kill mode with one punch fight ending power

I don't think they will be going at each other full force in sparring as if it was a fight...tough sparring might be what Bradley needs anyway because Marquez can punch at 147 as evidenced by the Pacquiao KO
