Galahad must be a lot better in the gym than he is in the ring reading these comments. Granted he looks a good prospect and I think he will beat dickens who seems a bit fidgety and over eager to me but he has a long way to go yet some of the comments on here seem very favourable towards him. He has the style of someone who doesn't get hit but josh wale and Isaac nettey were hitting him fairly easily with straight shots. Not trying to pit him down he has plenty of time but if he fights a puncher he's going to have to stop getting hit

Dickens wont be able to hit Galahad trust me, He will get countered all night and pulled out by the tenth round.

lets face it Mendes isn't all that is he, could only manage a draw on fri not one judge thought he won, burns would finish him if he stepped up.
Galahad is class and will prove it within 12 months

I thought Mendez looked class the other night and won that fight quite clearly with slick counter punching. If you compare that performance to that of Ricky's against Gonzalez Id put money on Mendez giving Ricky a boxing lesson.

with the fullest of respect you need to ask yourself do I really know how to read a fight when not a single judge agrees with your thoughts?
I thought Mendez was lazy and his work rate was poor,Ricky stops him

The judges dont always read it right and Teddy Atlas was questioning the judges straight afterwards.

I thought Mendez won it but agree he was lazy, when he did decide to put the punches together he was accurate, he has good counterpunching and also seemed to block alot of punches so has a decent defence.

I do think Burns beat's him though, similar skills, but bigger and stronger with alot higher workrate.

Not one person I've seen has thought Mendez was anything other than a winner. What are you smoking Billy?

With the fullest respect to you Billy,if you had that fight a draw or anything other than a wide points decision for Mendez I would seriously have to question your knowledge of the sport,Friday night fights is known for bad decisions everytime I watch it there's a robbery or some kind of injustice on there. That Usmani kid was coming forward throwing aimless punches that were either being parried or blocked and he was getting picked off at ease by Mendez, you say it was a lazy performance I would have to disagree I think it was a controlled performance he was totally outclassing the guy.You can't score points for aggression if a fighters not landing clean punches.I have no idea what those judges were watching but theyre heads must have been placed firmly up their own asses if they had that fight a draw.

The fact that he cites the judges as scoring it the way they did as some sort of conclusive proof is the hilarious bit.

Judges have NEVER got anything wrong in boxing. Definitely not.
