What do you see in him that would allow him to unseat Money Mayweather?

  3. I do. Floyd isn't spectacular above 147. Hes also never fought a full fledged JMW.

I dont read into the Ghost fight too much. I expected nothing less from Floyd. If he didn't put on a clinic against Robert, who only had 3 fights at 147 then that would be bad.

His boxing IQ is the main factor. The kid can adapt mid-fight like he did with Trout. Trout was trying to counter and turn Canelo, that was Trouts gameplan, he was successful the first 2 rounds.

But Canelo switched and became the counter puncher as well as applying smart pressure.

Trout would try to get in and get out and use his height and reach advantage. Canelo would just gallop in and throw looping jabs catching Trout in the chest everytime on his way out.

It takes a fighter that can adapt to beat Floyd.

This is a thinking man's game.

When are they getting the punch, is it before the fight? Because if they're getting punch in the face with alcohol right before they enter the ring, it's no wonder that they forget the game plan.

@Macwitdacheese, i'll take your word for it because somehow you have more knowledge than the man who faced both guys.

That's good and everything, but compare what Canelo does on the heavybag to Pacquaio on the heavybag, and you'll see why Mayweather says he "will never ever ever fight Pacquaio."

  10. Glad to hear it :good

Let me ask you this, if Floyd and Canelo have the same power, as accurate as Floyd is...why doesn't he have more KO's?

Because in reality, THEY DON'T have the same power.

Because floyd has faced better opposition throughout his career and why was it that floyd knocked out ricky hatton and canelo goes to distance with his less talented brother?

Neither one of them can do what Pacquaio can do with his hands. What a shame that fight didn't happen. Mayweather may be fast, but he can move as fast as Pacquaio can punch.

That's why he didn't want it.

With Saul, I see he can be wide, he lacks stamina, and he doesn't got the speed...relative to Pacquaio. Hopefully Canelo will beat Mayweather, early KO (can only hope), then Pacquaio whips Canelo, (too fast too hard hitting), and then Mayweather finally has to force his demons and take that ass whippin from Pacquaio like a man.

Or Mayweather can win against Canelo, but that just means more road blocks and less of a chance of the Pacquaio fight happening.
