    Quillin mid round stoppage

Although Murray looked good against Martinez, Martinez looked terrible and Murray wasnt doing anything special he was just walking him down with a high guard, Barker had success doing that aswell

Trying to walk Quillin down with a high guard doesnt work just watch the Winky fight

I know what your saying but can you honestly compare an OLD Winky Wright to a big strong young man like Murray? I'm not saying Murray wins this fight, honestly he stays in his shell to much to beat active fighters (barring a counter KO).. I don't see Quillen stopping him and it would be a decent test if better fights couldn't get made.

Was a bad comparison but that high guard wont trouble Quillin because that guy will still throw bombs whereas Martinez tends to wait for an opening instead of hitting their block

Because Murray has no head movement an uppercut could get in the guard and hurt him

Its a good fight just dont think that style works against anyone else apart from Sergio

    Good fight.

Stylistically Murray doesn't bring all that many dimensions more than did McEwan but he is just superior in every category. (all due respect to Craig)

Right now this would be a great fight. I would make Quillin the favourite but Murray would be tough enough to take him to the trenches. Tough fight for both.

I find Murray to be a bit overrated and GB must as well seeing how they're willing to send Quillin to the UK to fight him.

Quillin by surprisingly easy stoppage. The high guard gives Martinez trouble because he is more of a straight puncher and he can punch but his power is more generated by his counter timing. If his opponent does the high guard and rarely opens up, he lands a lot of shots on the gloves and doesn't get the timing to counter. Quillin is more of a hooker and has more power in general, so I could easily see his punches getting through and around the guard of Murray. Plus, Murray isn't featherfisted but he's far from a puncher, Quillin can take more risks against him without having to worry so much about Murray making him pay big.

Golovkin by knockout, easy knockout too. However, Quillin refuses to fight Golovkin!!!

Murray, Macklin both would give Quillin all he can handle, perhaps beat him. Easy fight for Golovkin though..........

Murray has 62% of the vote
but you'd think it'd be higher than that
Murray has proved himself whereas Quillin is just a paper champ he has fought no one
I suppose the votes reflect it is a majority american forum who tend to be biased

I don't really thinks Quillin can be classed as a guy who will throw regardless. He probably lost more rounds than he won against N'Jikam precisely because he was waiting around so much.
