The only way up for him is to try a new trainer and change his style.

Thing i dont understand is you woulda thought he trained for stamina the most for the rematch to just play it safe and not look for a ko, the guy was gassed after 3 rounds, i know Thompson went to the body but still he looked like he didnt even train

Price has needed a new trainer since he started boxing pro, plus he needs a strength & conditioning coach, esp. one like Marquez hired, who is the top expert on steroids and cheating on drug tests. Now that coach would really up his stamina!

David should seriously consider going with Arnie, Arnie wont have any fucckinng about its 100% graft, David will get one to one coaching every day and probably one of the best pad men in the country, Arnie has strong connections with Kerry Kays and you cannot get a better strength and conditioning coach then Kerry :good

Not sure Booth would touch him, pricey needs some serious work, the only top level thing about him is his power.

Wasnt David Price originally signed to Hayemaker??

There is some rumour about Haye constantly flooring him in sparring so they got rid.

Read a good interview he did and to be fair the lad was put under too much pressure.
Maloneys TV Deal - was dependant on Price
Maloneys promotional company - was dependant on Price
Every show Maloney put on - he headlined and was dependant on Price

He knew if he lost a lot of people were affected, all this at a time when he should have been still learning.

One thing is for sure, his chin is fine! - he took plenty of shots off Thompson has was still standing.

Stamina issues can be fixed. Look at David Haye!

He said he did lots of sparring and was in good shape - I think it shows what nervous energy and pressure can do to you - it drained him.

I've heard Adam Booth, Jimmy Tibbs and Enzo calzage all mentioned as possible new trainers!?

I WAS a believer, he is STILL a better boxer than Fury and has a KO punch, but sadly he has shown that he's not made of the fighting stuff. I don't think he can come back. That's both him and Cleverly now who have shown they "don't like it."
