Abdusalamov vs. Perez, 2. November @ gala of Golovkin vs. Stevens

  1. Will Perez take the fight or is he frightened to end his career after that?? Mago will knock him out within the first 5 rounds .. Perez was struggling with Walker.

Good fight. Mago´s power is frightening, but he can get outboxed easily unfortunately. Hope he can catch Perez with a big one early. Otherwise i think Perez will win a decision.

was he struggling with walker? Perez looks skilled to me would be interesting to see could he handle mago. Mago is one ruthless sob.

mago will put way to much preasure on perez.perez will probably out box mago for a few rounds but that preasure with that power is to much for any fighter out there.mago comes to get it.i don't care how much conditioning a fighter has mago just keeps coming breaking ya down.the only guy i think would beat him would be wladimir and maybe wilder.but the jury is still out with wilder.hopefully we see him tested soon.im a fan but im just as curious as everyone else to find out what his heart is pumping.

Perez hasn't exactly passed enough acid tests for us to say he definitely Froggers his way to safety on the far log - but if we're going strictly on skill and feeling based on watching both of them develop as they have so far...this should be a Perez win and not a difficult one.

Of course I say that, and now he's going to get humiliatingly KTFO. :yep

I would have favored Perez right after his prizefighter victory (I know that it isn't that impressive with even Audley being able to win twice), but right now I give the edge to Magomed.

There's going to be a KO either way :toney

Well if your opinion regarding Perez worsened resultant from looking ordinary against Walker, then your opinion regarding Abdusallamov ought to have dropped at least proportionately resultant from his struggles with McCline and Bisbal (both of whom are inferior to Walker, in McCline's case only because he's shot ...and Bisbal simply isn't that good)

IB, Mago is going to brutally beat him. Mago though crude is a legit fighter. And exciting.

Crude and slow and chinny. :conf

The fact that he occasionally scores & suffers big knockdowns is the only thing remotely exciting about him, to me. Watching him box is excruciating.

If he counts as "legit", HW is still in trouble.

he didn't struggle with McCline either. He got put down composed himself got up and won the fight.

We can discuss this later as the fight gets closer. I knew months ago Mago was going to be on HBO I just didn't know against who. If HBO is interested in putting him on they must see something? Like i said I am not saying the guy beats Wlad or anything like that but he is a threat. Perez has no chance. :good

he is more legit than wilder who has faced far worse competion and dropped by worse fighters. and price who faced adversity first time crumbled.

mago came back to drop mcline and batter bisbal

Of course they do. Power. Who doesn't like to see power?

The problem is when there is nothing else there of substance.

Abdusallamov is Arreola all over again. (not in terms of weight/fitness - but in terms of having nothing else to offer and this inevitably shining through and disappointing everyone currently enthralled by his power...)
