There is absolutely nobody currently in the HW division that could school Adamek like that and that includes Wlad because I think he'd fight more cautious against Adamek.

To be honest, that was a great moment in boxing history. A 40 year old taking out the best contender at the time like that in my mind is not only underrated but great.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::patsch:patsch:rofl

I could pick at least 8 heavyweights in 2011 who would have definitely beat adamek.

Haye would knock Adamek out early. Wlad would have finished Adamek off sooner as well.

Vitali's performance against a very limited Adamek was good, but Adamek is a not a dangerous heavyweight contender. Adamek got his high ranking because of a close win over a out of shape average chris arreola

    Wlad > Vitali

One of Vitali's best wins, which shows how shallow the top of his resume is.

Adamek looked like a child in with a grown man.

Not to try to take anything away from Vitali (because I actually like him pretty good), but even if Adamek was rated as the #1 Heavyweight Contender at the time... he was still only the second best guy at CW before moving up. Haye was the best CW.. and even being the best CW against the top end of the HW division is a lot to ask.

So really I look at it.. as if Vitali beat the #2 CW, instead of the #1 HW Contender

Can we quit with the Haye stuff already? The guy had his chance and completely **** the bed. Was scared to death to try and win. At least Adamek tried. Haye didn't do squat.

Adamek have some issues fighting tall guys.had problem getting in against Grant and even mc bride.he looked awkward, and getting cought on way back.
i guess due to lack of experience since most of his career he fought in light heavy and cruiser
hes best performance against similar height opponents.
and Vitali toyed with him.i was there watching live

nobody expected Adamek to be competitive with Vitali except a few Poles. Adamek had struggled with Michael Grant prior to that fight.

Haye had his first HW fight 11-15-2008

    Adamek won the IBF 12-11-2008

and if I am not mistake.. when Adamek won the IBF he also got the Ring.. which was only up because David Haye moved up to HW...

So yeah.. if a couple of weeks is long enough to be "long gone" then yes.. Haye was long gone, but I don't personally think under a month is enough time to be long gone.... unless maybe it is a race.

well i meant Haye was long gone when Adamek was still IBF champion,in regard that you said Adamek was never number one cruiser-not true
haye was gone when Adamek was fighting banks still as a champion.after banks he moved up to heavy partly becouse there were no big fights for him left in cruiser
so yes.Adamek was number one cruiser when he decided to move up to heavy

Wait, so we're basing Vitali's dominance on him wobbling Adamek's pitiful ass with a rangefinder jab, then carrying him for 8 additional rounds? Really?

The same Adamek was outboxed and given a gift decision over a one-armed Fat-Eddie Chambers who was already feather-fisted and outweighed by 20 pounds??? Wow!

Are we talking about the same Adamek who was hurt by Nagy Fcuking Aguilera!?!?!??!
