Floyd Mayweather says that you have to have 3 things to be a great fighter.

17 years in the game and the boy's never even been put on the canvas. That's phenomenal no matter what anyone says. People can only talk about that one punch from Mosley and it shows just how rarely he gets rocked. Floud is actually the greatest that ever lived. Better than Ali. Better than SRR. People just hate to admit it. Every single time a new clown says he'll end his undefeated record Floyd just embarrasses them. Canelo will just be another easy victory.

 

Wow. Amazing no one tested his chin until he was 35. Must be the greatest ever.

 

Look at the punchers he has faced that's why he is #1

 

Mayweather is my favortie fighter to watch, and he's P4P one of the best to ever lace them up. My only knock on him was his inactivity right after the Delahoya fight, only fighting once every year to almost 2 years (the JMM fight.)

But it was pretty incredible to see him come back from his long layoffs, avoid tune-up fights and take on top-tier contenders. That's a pretty maginificent feat that he never really showed any ring rust from those semi-retirements and was still able to dominate top level competition.

I want to see how he does against Saul and who he takes on in his last 4 fights of his Showtime contract. If he picks the right opponents and continues to fight on a regular basis (at least twice a year,) it'll be very interesting to see how people view his all time rank once he hangs up the gloves for good. Especially if he goes after Martinez at 160 and beats him, he's going to have a pretty incredible resume and a strong argument as one of the best boxers P4P ever.

 

Floyd got tremendous amounts of skill. I mean the fight against Marquez at the time was insane and it's gotten even better since Marquez went on to beat a superstar since then.

I can't see how people can hate on Floyd he's one of the greats be thankful for acually being able to see him live instead of hating him all the time.
