Mr. Pibb, hell, ANYBODY can SAY they want so and so, I can do that, so why are you so impressed by that?

Broner isn't a bad fighter at all. He's obviously not in Mayweather's class, but nobody really is so there's no shame in that. But he's accomplished a lot up to this point for a young 23 year old fighter.

He has a lot of flaws he needs to fix. I was quite disappointed in his last fight, his activity level was too low against a past his prime Paulie M. Makes me wonder what would happen if he took on a true Welter that actually has power in his fists. I still favor him against Maidana because Marcos can be outboxed pretty easily, but he pressures fighters really well and I could see him possibly stop Adrien late in the fight. But if Broner fights the right fight and doesn't try to engage Maidana too much on the inside, I can see him winning a clear UD.

It's probably in his best interest to move down to Lightweight again if he can make the weight. He looked terrific against DiMarco and I think he'd have a very good chance to have a long standing reign in that division. 140 is stacked with very good fighters, and some of them have true KO power so it's probably best for him to avoid that division for a while.

And he should forget about the shoulder roll defense. He was getting clipped a good deal by Paulie around the shoulders and body, and if Malignaggi had any power behind his punches the outcome could've been totally different.

Adrien needs to find a style that works better for him, it's nice that he tries to emulate Floyd's style but he doesn't know how to fight or defend like Mayweather at all.

You can't blame him, everybody becomes a stiff when compared to Mayweather

Especially Broner because he is judged by how much similar he is to Mayweather...So he has to be 100% exactly like Floyd or he is a stiff/poor man Floyd/Floyd Lite ...etc

Thats why its important for younger fighters to distance themselves from any comparisons, that might seem flattering at first, especially when the guy you are being compared too is still active

indeed, he must find his own style. He will probably forget about the Mayweather style when he'll get T/K.O'd. Maidana is a very good test for Broner. Don't forget that Maidana was able to catch and hurt pretty badly Khan who has good speed and decent footwork. Broner is there to be hit cuz he's flatfooted, so Maidana won't have to chase him too much in the ring.

Well if Broner is a Mayweather Clone, he should be able to move around the ring...Like Mayweather used to do back in the day...Its not like Broner just cloned the stationary portion of Floyd style only....I hope not :good

Why is it so hard for you to understand that not everyone has the same opinion that you do? I'm not a hater, I just don't see his greatness yet.

Exactly, lets see what he does...most people only "hate" or critique him harshly because his accomplishments don't live up to his hype yet. I hope to be proven wrong.

Sr. needs to shut his ugly ass mouth and be thankful that his son let him back in his life. He is a clown and dam fool. As for Broner, yeah Maidana will be his toughest fight and is gonna knock his ass out if he don't come prepared with his A game. Win or lose, the Maidana fight is good for him. If he is made of the right stuff ( which I think he is ) this fight will create a totally different and much better fighter.

Me thinks this big brother little brother talk will turn nasty before the end of Mayweathers 5 fight contract and we will have a fight on our hands.

Broner definitely won't beat, Alexander, Thurman, or even Robert Guerrero with the meager work rate he had against Malignaggi.

mayweathers are sick of having that little bum and his bootleg payless shoes walmart starter cap shoulder roll defense being compared to Jr's greatness.

It's like slapping a ferrari badge of a 1982 toyota tercel, it's just offensive.

Let's not forget that Mayweather Sr. was a journeyman.

Stop giving that bottom of the gene pool weirdo attention.
