Nope he won't as he is now faking the injury he was seen rock climbing with his family with his so called injured hand.

Why would Vitali faking it? He isn't getting any younger. He has no interest in delaying the fight with Stifferne. It is a frustrating situation so I understand that some people are mad at Vitali for not KOing Stifferne right away.

then why has he postponed 3 purse bids on the fight and had Stiverne fight in 2 WBC eliminator bouts to solidify him as a mandatory
at this rate he will not fight till June 2014 which will be almost 3 years since his last mandatory Adamek in 2011.
this dog in the manger shite has got to stop
fight or be stripped of the title

If Vitali is not 100% physically and has chosen to rule himself injured and out of action until next year then he is not fulfilling his duty as WBC Champion, he is failing to meet their minimum requirement of one mandatory title defence per year, and the WBC should not permit him to screw around with the rest of the division in this way.

If he cant physically make a fight this year then the least the WBC should do is arrange an interim Title fight between Stiverne and another fighter, but they would be fully entitled to strip him of his title since he hasn't had a mandatory defense since Adamek in 2011 and he has ruled himself out of a fight this year and it will be over a year and three month at the very least since his last fight, the one against Charr, when he returns.

Frankly, its a disgrace and a joke that he's getting away with this. It is an insult to the sport, to the fans and to all the other fighters in the heavyweight division that the WBC are permitting him to hold their title to ransom. He and his fans and the WBC should be ashamed of this.

Vitali needs to retire already and give some young gun a chance at that belt, all this postponing is getting annoying.

Only a ****** would think Vitali is scared to fight Stiverne. Isnt this the same stiverne that I post a thread that vitali will fight him and most all vitali haters saying this fight is a joke? LMFAO!! Stiverne best win is easily beaten Arreola who Vitali already destroyed when Arreola was undefeated.

It couldn't have anything to do with Don King now could it? Also, Vitali doesn't run the WBC, the WBC put Stiverne through those elims, not Vitali.

Guillermo jones sits on a title like few ever have. why no hate for him? wonder why he does it also? seems to be invulnerable to cruiserweight punches.

Wlad fought his mandatory against Ray Austin! Don King was involved.

    Wlad knocked Austin out.

obviously if Austin had been the champ, king would have owned wlad afterwards, and he would now be broke.

    Vitali afraid of Stiverne :lol
Stiverne beating Arreola, who has been dominated and Tkoed by Vitali?
Stiverne, who Tkoed Austin, while being behind on points. A guy, Wladimir demolished in 2 rounds, years ago? C'mon. You cannot be serious.
Stiverne is solid and good, but there is no need for Vitali, to be afraid of him.
When shot to **** Austin is able to box with Stiverne, imagine what Vitali can do.

They knock Stervine back because Vitali doesn't want to fight. If Vitali was prepared to step in the ring , the WBC wouldn't be putting Stiverne thru these elims..Get it?
